iTunes is always the first choice for most of iPod users when it comes to transferring music from computer. It can help you transfer and backup files easily.
  1. Connect your iPod to PC via matched USB cable.
  2. Click the phone icon on the left corner of the interface. To manage your media files manually, you'd better go to "Options" under "Summary"tab, cancel "Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" and check "Manually manage music and videos". Don't forget to click "Apply" when it's done.
  3. Import music into iTunes library from computer by clicking "File" and then "Add File to Library". Once transferred successfully, you can select the music icon on top to see all the songs.
  4. Click "Music" under "Settings" tab. Choose "Sync Music". You can either sync entire music library or selected playlists as you like. Then click "Sync" button at the bottom.

Enabling Home Sharing

Open iTunes.
Select the Home Sharing icon on the left-hand side of iTunes:

If the Home Sharing icon is not visible, choose Advanced > Enable Home Sharing from the menu bar. (You can disable or enable Home Sharing for your computer using the Advanced menu.)
Note: After enabling Home Sharing, the Home icon representing your computer is no longer visible.

When prompted, enter your iTunes or App Store account name and password:

Note: Be sure to use the same iTunes / App Store account name when enabling Home Sharing on all computers you intend to share with.

Click Create Home Share.
Use the above steps to enable Home Sharing on additional computers on your local network.

Locate and click the Home Share you want to connect to under Shared on the left-hand side of iTunes:

View the contents of that Home Share.
While viewing that Home Share you can:
Stream Music and Video to your computer: Double-click a file to listen to music or view video content in the iTunes library
Manually Transfer iTunes Content to your iTunes library: Select the content in the Home Share that you want to transfer to your iTunes library, then drag the content to your iTunes library. I have 3 sets of 2 ceiling speakers install throught the home for listening to music from ipod, cd, fm, etc... These speakers are not for home theater use (I have another 7.1 system for that). My question...

Hi,
firstly you could be experiencing "phasing" as you may have not spaced/set up the speakers properly. Also make sure plus on the amp goes to plus on the speak and ten - to - on the amp and speaker. cross them over at any stage or pair and again you will get your problem.ugest
It could also be you sre over driving your amp. How many ohms is each speaker and how many ohms is your amp capable of? 6 speakers to one stereo amp with one speaker out is very rare and usually quite damaging to equipment.
personally I would suggest one pre amp (to plug sources into) then 3 stereo power amps (one for each pair of speakers)

How to use the usb to down load music from my computer

  1. Insert a Memory Stick into the Memory Stick slot in the left side of the PSP. Depending on how much music you want it to hold, you may need to get a larger one than the stick that came with your system.
  2. Turn on the PSP.
  3. Plug a USB cable into the back of the PSP and into your PC or Mac. The USB cable needs to have a Mini-B connector on one end (this plugs into the PSP), and a standard USB connector on the other (this plugs into the computer).
  4. Scroll to the "Settings" icon on the home menu of your PSP.
  5. Find the "USB Connection" icon in the "Settings" menu. Press the X button. Your PSP will display the words "USB Mode" and your PC or Mac will recognize it as a USB storage device.
  6. If there isn't one already, create a folder called "PSP" on the PSP Memory Stick -- it shows up as "Portable Storage Device" or something similar -- (you can use Windows Explorer on a PC, or Finder on a Mac).
  7. If there isn't one already, create a folder called "MUSIC" inside the "PSP" folder.
  8. Drag and drop image files into the "MUSIC" folder just as you would save files in another folder on your computer.
  9. Disconnect your PSP by first clicking on "Safely Remove Hardware" on the bottom menu bar of a PC, or by "ejecting" the drive on the Mac (drag the icon into the trash). Then unplug the USB cable and press the circle button to return to the home menu.

WHen I turn on my PSP I get a yellow screen/Menu. It has Settings, Camera, Music, Video etc. How do I exit this to play a game?

This is the XMB its the main menu of the system. Games will be located under the Controller Icon. To play games insert a UMD, or if a game is downloaded and saved on the memory card, go through the icons under Controller icon. A disk icon will appear and show a preview screen to the game, press X to start the game.

I have the same issue. The best workaround is to create a playlist in iTunes specifically for the iPhone, and just have the phone sync that list.
