Centigrade (celcius) metric temperature .
19C = 66F, 20C = 68F 21C= 70F approx.
25C= 77F, 30C = 86F. There should be a setting to change that to Fahrenheit.

Help I tried to lower the temp for the air conditioner and now it won't turn off because it's set at 20.5. How do i reset it to 68?

I believe it is set to show Centigrade at the moment. 20.5 deg C is actually 68.9 deg F. So no worries as to the temp being wrong.

Now if you are asking how to set the display to Fahrenheit degrees instead, we will need to know the make and model.

Why does my air conditioner not run cold enough

A common misconception people have is that an air conditioner will blow cold air at whatever setting it is on. The truth is that all air conditioners can only be around 8 to 10 degrees cooler than the air passing through the air conditioner. So if you have say 30 degree air coming into the A/C you will only get 20 to 22 degree air out. If you can measure the temperature of the air entering and compare it to the air leaving the A/C to see what the difference is. If it is as stated then the chances are it is too small for the area if it cannot cool satisfactorily. If the temperature difference is not somewhere close to 8 to 10 degrees then the A/C has a problem, generally gas charge but could be other factors

On the FAH125p2T the display is reading in celsius instead of fahrenheit

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you are trying to change the display from Celsius to Fahrenheit. To convert from one to the other and back, press and hold the " TEMP/TIMER" Up arrow and Down arrow buttons together for 3 seconds. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

My Dometic thermostat reads -05 degrees on zone 1 for the inside temp.It is at least 80 degrees inside. When it reads -05 it won't let the AC kick on. Any ideas?

Instant thought- bad bateries in the stat! Second thought, bad Stat- sometimes they have intermitant problems, and being soldered PC boards with chips, relays, diodes, resistors, etc. they are not fixable nor tracable on intermitant problems, simply toss it & replace with a new one. The -05 leads me to believe the internal Thermister (electronic temperature sensor) is causing your problem, it sends the chip resitance values based on the temperature it's sensing- if it sends the wrong resistance value to the chip, the chip thinks the temp is different than it really is. Make sense? Hope this helps!

How to change the temp in a frigidaire galaxy refrigerator

Units will vary give or take a few degrees from the control panel display. Keep in mind once you change the temperature it will take up to 10-12 hours to stabilize and reach that temperature. If the unit is not cool, even at the bottom of the refrigeration portion (where the coolest air will be found) then contact a professional to diagnose the control pane and board.

It is showing degrees Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Push both the up and down temp buttons at the same time to toggle between C and F.
