Question about HP Pavilion dv9700t Notebook PC
The panel above the keyboard must be removed first. This requires removal of the battery and several screws across the top (from the back). Pry up gently but firmly. This will expose the 3 screws you are looking for. HINT: when removing the screws, lay them out (preferably on a piece of cloth or towel) in the order that they go. This makes reassembly much easier.
