Question about Refrigerators
Kenmore side by side refrigerator - the surface where the doors latch is very hot....
I've taken off the bottom grate thing on back and front and vacuumed it all out....still gets hot when i plug it in
I put a fan in the back....and that seems to solve the problem
What part do I need and can I install it myself?
Hi, Check the condenser fan in the back, near the compressor and see if it is turning. It must be turning while the compressor is running. Sometie the fan get hung up with dust. If there is nothing stopping the fan blade and the fan is not running while the compreesor is running, change the condenser fan motor.
Please let me know if this helps you or if I cna assist you further.
