The coupling on the motor ia broke you have to take the front off the washer and take the pump off there are clips you have to take off pull the motor out and the rubber coupling is right you will have to buy another coupling they cost about $10.00 then you put it back together. Tommy

The drum does not turn.

there are two potential problems. firstis te belt to the drum drive pully from th moter. this is the easiest. take off the back panel an seeif the belt is intact. if so run through a cycle and see if the motor spins or triesto spin. if not this is most likely thesuspect. one plug three screws and about100 dollarsfixes te motor. hope this helps.

Can you see water in the drum ?,No water = no action Check water supply

If there is water in the drum does it drain out at some point.

Sequence = Fill, Agitate, Heat, Wash, Drain, Spin etc.

If it fills then it may be a belt has snapped and the drum cannot turn , need to take the covers off to look.

Remove power before taking covers off !!!!

If the belt is OK then it may be the heater which has gone open circuit, try a cold wash or a rinse cycle to test that.
