This indicates loss of home position reference and often can be rectifieD simply by giving the entire white board belt a thorough clean. Ensure that you clean it at both ends. You may need to move the belt by hand to do this, if so FIRST TURN OFF the POWER.

Problem Description: no attempt to put paper thru printer, if it feeds it jams. Panasonic UB-5315

Hi, usually it is only a matter of removing the paper and turning it around prior to printing- but only at the start of each session. There may be a small piece of paper jammed in the paper throat area. You may be able to just see it if you open the paper draw or the plastic film area. You can access the latter area by sliding the tag downwards on the RHS of the printer. The piece of paper will be right at the bottom. Occasionally there is a full piece rolled up in the shoot that you can see above the film. You may have to remove the film rolls to access this. Make sure you look at which roll goes where before you remove them.- Ross

Printing Problem

Check sensor (behind panel on the left hand side of the whiteboard screen), to ensure there is nothing there blocking it eg: post-it notes, dust etc. Once cleared, turn the power off and on again and the flashing L should disappear, and you should be able to print again.

Panasonic Panaboard UB5815 flashing with "L" Message

Recommend others do not purchase the Panaboard. Finding a repair person is like pulling teeth. When you finally find someone to repair it, the cost is almost as much as purchasing a new one.

Can not print "L" flaching

"L" is not one of the usual error codes for that whiteboard. you might have a sensor error behind the board. usually dirt and dust are blocking the sensors from reading the board.

Cannot capture info from whiteboard

There was a paper jam. Everything is working fine now. Would still like to have a manual if anyone knows where I can get one on line. What Panasonic calls an 'operating manual' on their website is just a list of specs.

After looking at the troubleshooting section in the manual (what we should have done in the first place before posting this lol) we realized that we just needed to simply replace the Thermal Transfer Film.
