Aes peru pal,

grid lines are mostly used in copying say from a magazine article or anything that distortion will degrade, ( larger on top than on bottom ). or a tall structure that you want to look higher by distortion. this can be done with any fresnel lens, grids make it easier.

My Nikon F80 won't load y film automatically, it has a FEE error on the screen but i don't know what that is??

The lens you are using has the aperture ring set to something the camera cannot use. Simply turn the aperture ring to the largest number, usually a 22 or 32. Lock that ring if there is a lock and the fee should be gone.

What types of film can i use with my nikon f80?

You can use almost any 35mm (size 135) film available. Black&white, color negative (print), color transparency (slide). The only restriction is that you can't use infrared film since the camera uses infrared light internally. Any brand will work, as the film size and cartridge are standardized.

My Nikon F80 won't turn on, I've tried changing the batteries in the battery pack and turning it on and off but I've had no luck.

Hi darciegracem, Does this happen with the MB-16 battery pack using AA batteries? If so clean the contacts on the battery pack and inside the camera. Make sure it is screwed snug to the camera. If it happen when using the two 123 batteries as well, it may need a trip to Nikon. These cameras go used for about $100 or less thus, you may not want it repaired but, rather purchase a used one from a reputable dealer. The F80/N80 is a very nice camera.

Nikon f80 b/w cmera

The camera will not support the newer lenses since they have the auto focus motor internally. The lenses do not have the coupler in the mount to match with the camera

To quote Nikon. 'hold the camera's battery chamber cover at approximately 45 degrees to the camera body and then pull it out gently'.
