My Nelson Turf EZ Pro Jr. Irrigation system, serie 6200, is not shutting off after the programmed cycles.
I tried to reset to factory defaults, but the system locked up. I then used the reset process as described in the manual. This worked, and I reprogrammed, but the problem remains.

if you have 24 Volts AC on solenoid and the valve does not open, but opens manually, then the valve diaphragm is bad. You can test this by swapping wire at timer with a known good one. If the known good one will not open valve, repair it or better replace it.. I have found that buying a new valve and swapping parts is cheaper than buying individual parts. If you decide to replace diagram when reinstalling screws place screw in hole and turn to left, you will feel screw rise up and then fall, this is position you need to in as the screw will back in the original threads and not cut ones. do not tighten screw fully down and repeat for the remain 5 and the tighten in criss cross pattern

Are you having power blinks? A real problem in my area. If so, replace the lithium battery inside. A little more hassle to get to than the AA batteries (but not impossible), but quite possibly the problem.
