What does this Y148-8009A1 and 491300 mean on the back of a pulsar P watch

Y148 is the quartz movement model, 8009 is the case number.
The 491300 is the serial number, which means that the watch was produced in January of either 1994, 2004, or 2014. I have no idea what the A1 in a box is for. I hope this helps.

Pulsar Quartz serial # 390385

Serial number are no use at all. It is just a record for that individual watch. It was the 385th watch made in March 1990.

Look on eBay for prices realized on sold items.
