Ultimately the list of 78 ceiling fan manuals which can be chosen from for downloading do not have your model number. Most of the manuals listed have the model name of each fan. The manual for your fan may be in that list, but I am not going to click on each link to try to find the right manual, if it is even in that list.

I finally found the Hampton Bay (ceiling fan) company Customer Service number. I suggest you call that number and ask a Customer Service Representative how you can obtain the proper manual for your fan. This is the number:

Saturday, 9am- 6pm, Eastern Time
You will need your product number when you talk with a Customer Service Representative. That is the number on the silver sticker on the top of the fan motor housing.

Bottom line: To me, Hampton Bay seems to have the MOST UN-HELPFUL process for obtaining an owner's manual.

Take model no. of fan to lowes and they should be able to sell u one.

Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Manuals

There is a slide switch on the side of the fan motor.
Push the switch to the opposite direction.

If it's when you set the remote on med or high, check to make sure the switch on the fan isn't set on low. Turn the remote to high and pull the chain switch to see if it goes faster. Someone may have tried to turn it on or off with the chain, forgetting about the remote. Good luck.

your pull chain for the fan is bad u can go to home depo & buy a new pull chain but when u replace it on the back ot the switch their is A 1,2,3,4, make sure the wires go to the correct #'s

Whether there is a reset switch on this unit or not would depend on the model. If you no longer have the owners manual you should be able to get it from the hampton web site. Many fans have a thermal fuse inline that probably was blown when the bulb broke. The cheaper models do not and then I would guess you burned out the switch.
