Question about Acer Computers & Internet
Grr. So, my Acer Aspire 3000 laptop has been having some really weird problems charging its battery. It used to be if you wiggled the cord around a bit, the charge light would come on, but now it's so finnicky that I have to push really hard on the part that goes into the port before I can turn it on. Is it shot? Is there some kind of fix for this?
When you finally get the charge light to come on, does the battery get fully charged? How long can it run while not plugged in?
A junker will not charge properly, or hold a charge for a short period of time. If this is the case, time to get a new battery.
If the battery seems to charge fine and the uptime is acceptable take a look at the charger and connectors, make sure their clean and free of debris. Maybe try to locate someone with the same charger and see if the problem continues (Some computer shops may have your charger)
