Question about Gateway FPD1760 17" LCD Monitor
I have a Gateway FDP1975W and my montor's power button stopped working yesterday, and for no apparent reason I pressed the little Menu button on the side of the monitor and it turned it on. So now all my little monitor control buttons (Menu, Auto Fit, Input, Theme) are acting as my power buttons and my actual power button isn't working at all.
I would advice you to take your monitor to a technician, but if you are not ready, please leave the monitor on and make sure it is connected to ups u can now turn it on and off from the ups, if you continue the menu, Auto fit etc stuff, you might damage or disorganize the settings of your monitor which might cost you more. thanks
