Question about Grilling

I'm trying to replace thr grill ignitor on my Brinkmann 810-6320-B grill. There seems to be only one screw holding the part on the grill. I loosen the screw but it doesn't sseem to be coming out. Is there a nut on the other side?

I have 3 charmglow heaters. I can get the pilots to light but when I try to turn the knobs to high or low they go out. Doesn't seem like gas is coming out at that point. Why?

there should be a thermocouple protruding into your pilot flame. This device, when hot, produces an electrical voltage that tells the gas valve that it is safe to turn on the gas. The thermocouple can be bad or frequently the small tube or wire connection from the thermocouple to the gas valve gets corroded and doesn't make connection. Try cleaning this connection first. It may be just screw terminal connections or a hexnut. loosen the screws or hexnut and clean ... reconnect and test. If it does not, pick up and install a new thermocouple.

Collector Box Installation

If it corroded off or broke you'll be better off getting a butane grill lighter and doing it manually that way. Then, just food gets cooked. It may just be a loose screw...you need to pull off the grate and check it out.

I have a brinkmann 3 burner grill, the middle burner flames, but the outside ones do not, i just bought it today. How do I light the outside burners?

I am not sure, but I think the Brinkman uses the ignitor to light one burner and the other burners light after the first one allowing the flame to "crossover".

Looking for a brinkmann 810-3200G replacement burner

Unfortunately, your model grill has been discontinued by Brinkman. The burner you need, Part # 19810-3200-G is no longer available and there is no substitution.. Neither from Brinkman or other grill part sources. In fact, the only 2 parts available from Brinkman for you grill are an ignitor button & cooking grates.

I'm sorry, I wish I had better news for you. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Everything is working fine.....I see a flame on the ingnitor...when I put in a match it lights... When I try to ignite it wiht the dial the spark is not getting fire.....the ignitor seemed to fall off...

The ignitor or as Brinkmann calls it, the Collector Box (it collects gas for the ignitor to light it) attaches to the inside of the front of the burner or grill box to the right of the first burner on the right. It attaches with a screw (which apparently had fallen out). I have included a link to your Owners Manual, which shows a drawing of your frill head, looking down into it from above on Page 26. This should visually help you.

One more thing. Brinkmann has discontinued your model. A limited number of parts are still available through Brinkmann, so take good care of your grill.

Hope this helped you.

How do i remove the ignitors out of a charmglow grill model number 720 0036 HD 05?

The ignitor electrode(s) are held in place my a small tab that's attached next to each main burner with a small screw. To totally remove the ignitor electrode, disconnect the wire to it first, by pulling the wire's sleeve off the ignitor pin. Then unscrew the holder/tab. There should be no need to replace the wires, if you are just replacing the ignitor electrodes. Be sure to remove the battery from the Ignitor Module, before trying to remove the electrodes.

The ignitor would not even click. put new batteries with no success.

Make sure that you have the battery facing the right direction. Generally on most electronic grill ignitors the + end should be facing you. If you're sure they are facing the right direction, remove them and check for corrosion in the battery holder. If you find some, clean it out using a Q Tip and WD40. Then replace the battery. If that doesn't solve the problem, make sure all the wires behind the control panel of the grill are securely attached. Then remove the cooking grates and the flame tamers and check the spark ignitors, If they are covered with grease, which they frequently are, clean them with a cotton ball soaked in alcohol.

Any or all of the above should solve the problem. If it doesn't, it's time to replace the electronic ignitor assembly. You can purchase it online directly from Brinkmann.

Happy Grilling!!!

Where does the ignitor battery go on the Brinkmann model 810-9520-S grill?

It goes inside the igniter button holder. Unscrew the outer plastic ring of the igniter button and you'll find the holder under it. Usually takes 1 AAA battery. But depending on how old yours is, it may take 1 AA Battery.
