check your filter uncheck the delete option and create label so you can delete these email easly later on when you see that the filter is working .
once you see the filter is working you can remove the label and and check in the delete option back .

I can't access my account. A box comes on screen saying "your user name or password are incorrect". I have changed absolutely NOTHING. I don't know how to chage anything. Also all my gmail has started...

This tells nothing about how your account was or is set up. Nor does it reveal what applications you may have used or attempted to use in processing your mail or what sites you may have granted access to your mail. Many things can be at work.

That you don't mention having a second email account begs explanation. You must have one otherwise you could not expect to receive an answer from Fixya.

You also maintain contradictory assertions. To find your emails in trash, you must be able to login using your user name and password. But you say you can not login. This suggests that at some point you could log in, found all your mail in trash, then later could not log in. But here you are in Fixya so you must be expecting the answer in an email!

Ignoring all these paradoxes, here are some things to check:

1. Has your email been hijacked? When you set up Gmail, you were offered the opportunity to have "fall back" ways in case you could not access your account. If you can access such means, I suggest you use such to change your password.

2. Are email filters set up in your account? If you have "rules" guiding the filtering of your email, you may wish to try deleting all such rules in SETTINGS. Then check to see what happens.

3. Have you tapped third party applications designed to organized your email? It might help to check what you have installed.

4. Have you been using multiple email accounts and having them forward mail into one account?

5. Are you synching email across various devices?

Gmail problem

You can combine multiple Gmail accounts into a single, primary Gmail account by using the POP3 Mail Fetcher application built into Gmail.

The Mail Fetcher enables you to retrieve email from POP3 email accounts, including Gmail, and send mail as if from a different email address all from within your primary Gmail account. Configure your primary account to manage your other Gmail accounts with the Mail Fetcher.

Sign in to the Gmail account that you want to use to manage your Gmail accounts.

Click the "Settings" icon, represented by a gear cog, in the top left and click "Mail Settings."

Click the "Accounts and Import" tab.

Click the "Add POP3 Email Account" button.

Enter the email address of your secondary email account and then click "Next Step."

Enter the password of your secondary email account and then click "Add Account."

Click the radio button beside "Yes, I want to be able to send email as
[SECONDARY EMAIL ADDRESS]" and then click "Next Step."

Enter the display name for your secondary email address and then click "Next Step."

Click "Send Verification" and then check your secondary email account.
Click the link contained in the verification email to confirm the integration of that account with your primary Gmail account.

All mail sent to your secondary Gmail is now delivered to your primary account, and when responding your secondary Gmail address is displayed in the From section of the email.

If you need a new email account that is free, Gmail is just one of many options you can use.

An Internet-based email account, such as Gmail, has the advantage that you can access your email from any location, whether you\'re at work or out of the office

Navigate to the Gmail homepagegmail.com

Click on the "Sign up for Gmail" link, located in the lower right-hand side of the screen.

An account setup page will open.
Fill out your username, password and city in the appropriate fields.

I want my every gmail to be forwarded to several contacts instantly. I do not know how to do it.

Hi, according to gmail you can't auto forward all emails to multiple email accounts.
(From gmail page: Gmail can only auto-forward mail to one address at a time.")

so you would have to do it manually, open each email as they come in and goto forward etc..
