Astak 2.4GHz Wireless Camera with Night Vision how do i hook it up to my laptop

I have Astak wireless cameras, that have a receiver, that has A/V "out" ports, that I plug into the A/V "in" ports on a small monitor. If your laptop has A/V "in" ports, you can do it. Plus you need long cables, depending on how far away your receiver is. If you had Foscam wireless security cameras, you could do it wireless to your laptop. No cable needed.

How do i setup a astsk 840t wireless camera with a astak 2.4 wireless reciever to a tv with rv jacks ?? What jumper do i buy??

Hello James Waligora,

I've had a lot more trouble trying to decipher what we are talking about "rv" jacks ...

and since you provided ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE about the
"TV" ... I'm just going to BULLDOZE ahead with
my OWN conclusions... "TYPICALLY" will be used a lot.

ASTAK 2.4GHz cameras are a pretty straight forward
set-up ... with the receiver POSITIONING being your only challenge... Two REGULAR Twin LEAD RCA jack ended
cords should be sufficient... LEAD LENGTH is for your ease of adjusting for best reception.

If you already have ECHO, ALEXA... x10 devices (etc.) you
can TYPICALLY expect interference

The yellow is all you need for "video" the OTHER
you can stick in the red or white audio input of your "TV"
for sound (red typically means right side
(Left being what's left... again typically white)

STAY AWAY
from the RED, BLUE GREEN inputs...
While they are VIDEO... they are called "composite"
and ARE NOT COMPATIBLE with your single lead
Yellow corded RCA PLUG...!!

** Don't even try: Not compatible... not.

TYPICALLY 2.4 GHz is low power straight line
(easily interrupted radio signal that is over used)...

ASTAK instructions:
(ah... ) they do come with manuals... but the FIRST SITE
I attempted to access for you set off EVERY internet security protection I have... EXERCISE CAUTION THERE...!!!

What comes with a "astak cm918t night vision security camera"? How do I and what does it hook up to?

If there is a place for an antenna then it is wireless. You can use any computer monitor, doesn't have to be anything specially made for it. You will however need the wireless receiver and you will still need power to the camera. On top of that you will need a DVR for recording unless you have no intent of recording then you can hook it to the monitor with will take a converter to match the inputs properly.

Manual for astak night vision cmos camera 2.4 ghz wireless receiver

The Astak Night Vision Wireless CMOS Camera is also known as a CM-818T. It is a wireless camera, that you HAVE to have the Astak Receiver, I believe 919. The camera is part of a security set that has 4 to 8 cameras and a specific receiver that receives the camera signal and saves it to a proprietary DVR. Frankly, what you have at this point without spending about $300 is a rock. If you want a cheap camera, try looking at Harbor Freight. Not that it is better or worse, but at least for under a 100 you can get a camera and a monitor that work. Only down side is that you have to hardwire it. Then again, wireless has a tendency to bleed signal. Lots of people with after market backup cameras can view your camera signal and you wouldn't even know about it. By the way, all of the sites that have a "manual" for this camera all have Non-Malware detected on them. Do yourself a favor and go buy something from a reputable person or company. Isn't your security worth paying something for? That is kind of like buying the most expensive stuff you can for a motorcycle and putting on a helmet you got from Goodwill. Just my humble opinion. Good luck.

UPDATE: I have found several of the 909 receivers on ebay for about 20 to 50 bucks, depending on which ones you select These might be useful if you were to want to try it. Good luck.
