How do I reset an ACCESS HD DTA 1030 converter box with an RCA UNIVERAL REMOTE and what is the code. Or how do I take the menu off tv.

These converters had mixed reviews (I looked at Amazon) and a box refusing to turn on is a common one. Please have a look at the troubleshooting guide below for other issues.

There is not a way, unless you get a universal remote, scan for the code to control the box, and then get into the menu.

You haven't given a clear problem post ebefore me. You have only give the model number and brand name of your TV only. Not give the model number of your RCA converter box. Yet i posts a solution to your problem, assuming that your RCA Converter box model number is " DTA 800B1 " The three digit setup codes for Orion TV with this RCA converter box are: 029, 189, 200
