Log in to Amazon, go to my account > orders
you will see list of items that you have recently ordered. To the right there should be of clickable boxes (4 I think) . select 'return or replace items' and proceed from there

I just got off the phone with Jpay customer service....@ 1(800)574- 5729 you need a phone number and zip code associated to the account to get anyone on the phone. but once you do follow the prompts.
Here's how you do it....
mail tablet to:
Media Department
12034 Miramar Parkway
Miramar, FL 33025

be sure to have a valid return address that you will be able to receive the tablet after 30-45 days.

they will unlock and mail back to the return address on the package mailed in. also you have to pay for the postage there. and the unlock itself is free of charge. can take anywhere from 30-45 days.

On button fell inside tablet.

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer's customer service? You really don't want to try taking the casing apart, unless you're experienced, you might never get it back together. If it was me, if it's just a month old, you should hurry and take it and the packaging and receipt back to walmart. Tell them you either want a new one or your money back. Immediately. Here's what their web page says about their return policy

"Returns Policy by Department Most items can be returned within 90 days of when you receive them. Items purchased on Walmart.com may be returned either to a store or by mail, unless stated otherwise in the list of exceptions below. See the departments below to find out if there are exceptions to the 90-day rule and for instructions on how to return certain types of items.
Items must be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging, so we recommend you keep your packaging for at least the first 90 days after purchase."

My screen cracked across the middle, how much does it cost to fix the screen?

I recently cracked the screen on my mac. The store wanted 1200 to fix it. If the computer is usable ignore it. If it isn't buy a new computer. Broken screens are very expensive to fix...sorry mate ; c

This looks like a hardware defect covered by the 1-year limited warranty, assuming you did not mistreat your device like dropping it into a bathtub or running your car over it a few times.

The main screen is freezing...can't get it past the Literati screen. Reset won't work.

Hey bluzecky, I have this issue as well. After exhausting my options, customer service is now sending out a package for me to return my Literati for a replacement. I was advised to drain the battery and recharge it fully to see if that makes any difference, which I'm in the process of doing right now. Hope either of these options may help.
