Not sure about your unit but on my unit the sensor is on the top right hand side of the door, it is a flat plate that has been rivot in place and it meets up with another sensor on pc board that extends away from pc board.

Need to turn off door sensor on 2004 Toyota Sienna

To turn off the door sensor on your 2004 Toyota Sienna, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Open the door of your Sienna and locate the door sensor, which is a small black or silver button located near the top of the door frame.
  2. Press and hold the door sensor button for a few seconds until the sensor's light turns off.
  3. Close the door and test the sensor to make sure it is no longer active.
Note: Disabling the door sensor will prevent your Sienna from automatically locking or unlocking the doors when you open or close them.

Where is the sensor eye and sensor light on garage opener

The only 2 sensors are located inside on each side of the garage door. Their purpose is to sense if there is a movement while the garage closes so it can interrupt the garage closing. That's in case you close the garage and someone walks in/out. Also some sensors also act as a "light switch". What I mean is that when the garage is open for a while, and you walk in the garage passing those sensors, it will turn the light on which is located on the motor.

LiftMaster Pro 1/2 hp 41AS050-1 won't shut. when

Check the resistance down button (There is one for down and another one for up). You may need to adjust the sensitivity. That way even if for some reason the have hard time coming down, less sensitivity may solve that issue.

My garage door opens fine, just wont close with remotes. Lights just flash. I have to use the opener in garage and keep the button pressed in till the door is fully closed or it will reverse.

Clean both safety sensors lens located at the bottom of the garage door frame. Make sure both sensors led lights are lit. If not they are out of alignment and you will have to loosen the wing nut on the sensor that is lit and move it, trying to get the other sensor to light.

One sensor is green and the other is yellow will not close even when holding down the wall remote

Don't know for which device. Sounds as if it may be a garage opener?? If it is, check the alignment of the door obstruction sensors located near the bottom of the door frame. Sometimes one can come out of alignment. These sensors shine a beam of infrared light across the opening to sense something in the way. Hope this helps

Have a Craftsman 1/2hp garage door opener (HBW0777 year 1994). It won't close and goes back while blinking 8 or 9 times. Transmitting sensor (red light) is blinking 3 times (even i hold the two sensor...

Anytime the main light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem. If the transmitting sensor light is blinking it is bad.

Door ajar dash trouble and dome light stays on even if all doors

The door sensors will need to be replaced. A screws can be removed and then a wire can be taken of and you then can replace the switch.

The interior light on my vw golf r32 stays on when all doors and boot is closed? Where is the sensor located?

Hi, one of your door pressure switches are sticking or, may be disconnected or broken. these pressure switches are located within the inner side of each door frame. they are usually housed where the door hinges are located. you can replace these switches.

make sure it isnt a wiring issue before you buy new pressure switches.

Please rate and have a great day:)

One more thing. make sure the dome light(interior light), switch isn't set to ON. if its set to ON, it will continue to illuminate even if the doors are closed.
