Question about Mitsubishi Televison & Video

1 Answer

We have an old Mitsubushi VS-5041 50" projection set in a coin op video game. It use to turn on when the game was powered up, now it has to be turned on manually. Can you tell us how to program the set so it comes on with power up (like a computer monitor). Thanks! Gordie

Mitsubishi leads the industry with three rear HDMI 1.3 inputs and two rear component inputs for maximum HD connectivity. Both a front HDMI 1.3 input and a front component video input allow you to easily connect your favorite HD game system. check out your video game wires. -------------- Two HDMI inputs and two FireWire (IEEE 1394) ports are on tap for compatible sources. There are also two component-video inputs, two A/V inputs with S-Video, and two DVI stereo audio inputs for folks wanting to adapt a DVI source device to the HDMI input. Rounding out the connectivity on the rear panel is one set of A/V outputs with composite video, a pair of RF antenna/cable inputs, and a coaxial digital audio output. For gamers and camcorder users, there is a set of front-panel A/V inputs with S-Video on the lower-left front of the set. you will have to check out this front pannel av inputs wires.as this are eitther loose or not supporting and needs replacement. if the wires are faulty you can get it at www.bestbuy.com thanks.please do rate the solution.thank you for using fixya.keepupdated.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

TV turns off

There is an issue with your Processing Board or a power supply. Either one you will need to get the unit in for repair or have a servicer come to the house to see what the issue is. I would call around and get some price quotes on what the charges for repair are. A good shop will do this for you.

Mitsubushi VS-5043 Rear Projection,,, Replaced 3 Converrence IC's. Recovered green color. Red color is bowed. Cannot move red crosshais in convergence set up. Is their a way to reset? Could something else...

There are a few low value 1-watt flameproof resistors in the convergence yoke circuits. They typically range from 1 to 3 ohms. An open resistor will cause the respective color to be non-responsive. Also chack that you have the convergence yokes re-connected to the correct connectors on the board.

I have a coin op dryer modle cem2760kq0 i put im a new timer in but it dose not stop runing?

mechanical coin op timers come without the shut off cam installed
there are slots around the edge corresponding to different times, that take a pin cam. the pin cam is in the box for the installer to insert to the owners specification, between 24 and 60 minutes in 6 minute intervals usually, hope you retained the packaging, or the old timer which should have its cam pin still in it

electronic coin op timers have to be programmed

No power to hitachi projection tv in a coin operated game

the tube need high voltage to light up.but when used in a arcade game its pretty much just a monitor and need to make sure video is getting to the video circuits ,tvs have a OSD on screen display that offers information about the menu like brightness etc
Does the OSD show?
Can you hear high voltage?
Odds are if no picture then no high voltage if thats the case you need to troubleshoot the circuits and need a schematic and a voltmeter.Good Luck!
