REAR CAMERA TURNS ON WHEN OPENING COMPUTER - RCA CA 7" Tablet with 4GB eory 28458515

If your Vivitar Camelio tablet is stuck on the opening screen, you can try the following steps to fix it:

1. Perform a soft reset by pressing and holding the power button for 10-15 seconds until the screen turns off. Then, release the power button and press it again to turn on the tablet.
2. If the soft reset doesn't work, try a hard reset by pressing and holding the volume up button and the power button at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the tablet vibrates and the Vivitar logo appears. Release the buttons and wait for the tablet to reboot.

There's a magnet in the flap that tells the device to turn the screen off when it contacts the tablet.

If the camera is a part of the tablet, perhaps you should try to turn the whole tablet? But if you want to switch from the front camera, to the rear camera (or v v) try the camera app, or touch the camera logo o the screen.

The answer is yes! Open the camera app and within the options you can switch between front and rear camera!

Does your device have front facing as well as rear facing cameras? It may be that you need to open your camera app, and there should be a button to tap to change from rear facing camera to front facing camera. To take a photo of someone else you need it on front facing camera.

The PLT1066 has a front and rear camera.

Maybe you can try pressing and holding the power button until it turns off then keep holding it until it turns back on and see if that works

there is no question but I am assuming you are having trouble switching from the from to the rear camera ?

if that is the question : than try to do a soft reset and see that works
