If this is a self powered mower, you probably need to make an adjustment. (All self-powered mowers need an occasional adjustment). Check your owners manual for the procedure on your mower, they vary by brand and model).

That is the guard between the handle and the saw bar
push not pull if you pull toward the back of saw that puts chain brake on so make sure you push the guard toward the bar

Removing manual window winder to get door panel off to fix door lock. Old Toyota Rav 4.

there is a tool available from a auto parts store to remove the handle
it is a flat section piece of steel strap that has a a square section cut out of the end
place the tool under the handle and push it between the handle and the plastic wear washer for the trim
push it forward and it expands a "C" clip that holds the handle on the shaft
full the handle off
before refitting the handle push the clip back into place and then just push the handle back on the shaft till it clicks

How can i get my upright kenmore vacuum cleaner to move to the vacuum position?

Don't know your brand vacuum but if I understand you correctly the solution should be pretty straight forward unless the lowering lever is broken somehow. Usually there is a foot lever on the left, or sometimes the right, toward the rear part of the base to push with your foot. Step on it while at the same time push it slightly forward first - just a quick 1" forward motion, then pull it toward you. That SHOULD disengage the handle to be able to vacuum freely.

Self propelled clicking noise

check the cable that connects from the handle to the power drive. you might have broken a fastener between the two.

Bissell Power Steamer Pro Deluxe will not move forward

tip unit back to lift brushes off floor and roll forward until over carpet edge. tip back unit to sit flush on carpet and unlock handle so it swings freely. now pull backwards ith finger on spray trigger. that's how it works, not by pushing forwad.

Window winder handle

the window winder consists of two parts - the handle part and the round part. if you look at the round part, you will see that it consists of two parts. the bottom part can in actual fact be pushed forward (this is the part closest to the door panel). if you push this forward it will un click and you can remove it.
hope this helps

E drive problem. Self propelled feature drives in reverse, but not in forward.

This is basically the same problem with a Hoover power drive only the forward still drives albeit slowly and a slight "push" to keep it going. There has to be a common core type of drive failure !!
