Question about Hansgrohe Home

1 Answer

The water coming out in the shower from a Hansgrohe ThermoBalance I control is a little too hot on the coolest setting. When the center temperature control is turned to the clockwise stop position which should be the coolest setting, the water is still too hot. I would like for the average shower temperature (medium heat) to be midway in the middle control setting. That woudl allow an adjustment for a little hotter temperature or a little cooler temperature.

Pull the handle off and there is a black dial you can pull out and readjust on the shaft of the cartridge that will allow you to have cooler and hotter settings. it's black plastic and has little splines on it . the more you go one way the hotter it gets and the same the other way gets cooler

Clubmaster shower not holding temperature. Hot water not coming through.

There's only there things that are clubmaster, a shower head, and two hand held sprayers.

They all spray water, they don't heat water.

Did someone install a new part, the one that's behind the wall ?

If they did, most have a safety so people don't get burnt and they need to be adjusted.

Adjust hot water on hansgrohe metro shower

The hand shower and wall bar does not control temp. The valve in the wall would control the temperature of the water going to the shower. I would need to be able to identify the model number of the valve in the wall to be able to give accurate instructions on temperature adjustment. If you need help identifying this valve feel free to give me a call at Hansgrohe 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech and ask for David Scarborough

Hansgrohe shower thermostat: water is getting only Lukewarm. Hot water ok in sink and throughout rest of house.

The first thing to try is cleaning the filter screens on the thermostatic cartridge. Hansgrohe thermostat valves have filter screens to protect the element from debris or water deposits. If they begin to get clogged the valve will have a hard time regulating temperature.

To adjust hotter

Your shower has been installed for a while and you are noticing the dial must be turned further and further to the hotter settings to get a normal shower - In this case the filter on the hot inlet is getting clogged with debris. Refer to the cleaning instructions in the manual that came with your shower, or contact Hansgrohe USA by calling 800-334-0455 for the documents.

If your installation is brand new or old, debris on the filter is the number one cause of this problem. You can test it by noticing if there is a drop in pressure when you dial to a hot setting as opposed to the cold setting. The drop in pressure indicates dirt on the filter where water has a tougher time getting through.

Filters on a shower valve may seem strange to US consumers. Your old two handle valve system woul run for years without needing servicing. Now you have filters to deal with. These filters, like any filter need to be cleaned periodically and the frequency depends on the quality of your water supply system.

The real benifit, is that the filters protect your smart valve and the shower head from malfunctioning due to debris.

Hansgrohe 06358620 shower not hot enough

Remove the handle by loosening the screw near the bottom. You should see a plastic ring, probably green, that is the hot water safety. Adjust it so that the handle will turn further for more hot water. It most likely pulls out, then turn it left, reinsert and reattach the handle.

No hot water coming through the shower system, though hot water comes through the pipe without system attached

When you adjust the dial to mix the hot and cold for your desired liking, it goes into a mixing chamber before going to the shower head, im asumming your issue is within the mixing chamber.
