Ice maker and dispenser is not getting water - Frigidaire Refrigerators

Andrea, make sure you are getting water to your ice maker. Most common ice maker problems are caused by lack of water. There is a water valve( dual) that feeds your water dispenser and ice maker that could be the culprit. Even if you are getting water out the door the valve can still be bad( separate water lines)..
Second thing to check are your optics( It measures ice level in your bin. If they are defective it will trick your ice maker into thinking its full of ice and not produce anymore.) They are located on the freezer walls just below ice maker..

Start at the water valve at back of unit and work your way to the ice maker. Make sure the hose at the back of the frig isn't block. Also that the arm on the maker is down and in the on position. If all this checks, then go back to the solenoid that turns the water on and off to the ice marker.

Just because you get water from the dispenser does not mean you should also get ice made in the ice maker. Fact is there are two side to the water control valve. One for the ice maker and the other for the water dispenser. Is there ice remaining inside the ice maker slots? If not then pour water into the tray until full and if after the water freezes it drops the ice into the ice bin this will indicate a defective=> WR57X10032 Water Inlet Valve If nothing happens and the ice maker tray are full of ice this will indicate a defective=> WR30X10093 Ice Maker Assembly The ice maker is cannot be rebuilt on this model. The water dispenser tube is getting leaked form in between or its got loose from its actual line.Inspect water dispenser tube from water valve to the end of where the water is getting dispensed.

The ice maker is what tells the water control valve to open so it may be correct now and the thermostat in ice maker may be defective. Part 27 or 627985 down below where it says Whirlpool Ice Maker Parts Breakdown and in that photo is the ice maker thermostat. If your ice maker has been used for many years the complete ice maker may be better to replace. Ice maker Model=> 4317943

Check the waterline as well as the valve supplying water to the ice maker.

You're funny. This is a portable 12/120 volt model. It dosn't have a water dispenser or ice maker :-)

Check the following:

Is the freezer door closed completely?

Is the ice storage bin installed correctly?

Is there ice in the storage bin?

Has the ice frozen in the storage bin?

Is ice stuck in the delivery chute?

Has the wrong ice been added to the storage bin? Use only
cubes produced by the current ice maker.

Has the ice melted around the auger (metal spiral) in the
ice bucket? Dump the ice cubes and clean the ice storage
bin.

Is the ice dispenser stalling while dispensing “crushed”
ice? Change the ice button from “crushed” to “cubed.” If
cubed ice dispenses correctly, depress the button for
“crushed” ice and begin dispensing again.

Has the dispenser arm been held in too long? Ice will stop
dispensing when the arm is held in too long. Wait 3 minutes
for dispenser motor to reset before using again.

The ON/OFF switch is located on the top right side of the freezer
compartment.
To turn the ice maker on, slide the control to the ON (left) position.
To manually turn the ice maker off, slide the control to the OFF
(right) position.
NOTE: Your ice maker has an automatic shutoff. The ice maker
sensors will automatically stop ice production, but the control will
remain in the ON (left) position

REMEMBER:

Allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice. Discard the
first three batches of ice produced.

The quality of your ice will be only as good as the quality of the
water supplied to your ice maker. Avoid connecting the ice
maker to a softened water supply. Water softener chemicals
(such as salt) can damage parts of the ice maker and lead to
poor quality ice. If a softened water supply cannot be avoided,
make sure the water softener is operating properly and is well
maintained

The Dispenser Lock (on some models)
Your dispenser can be turned off for easy cleaning or to prevent
unintentional dispensing by small children and pets.
NOTE: The lock feature does not shut off power to the product, to
the ice maker, or to the dispenser light. It simply deactivates the
dispenser levers. The ice and water dispensers will not work.
Style 1: Press the LOCK BUTTON to lock the dispenser. Press the
UNLOCK button to unlock the dispenser.
Style 2: Press and hold the LOCK OUT button to lock the
dispenser. Press and hold the LOCK OUT button a second time to
unlock the dispenser.

the slide switch ice - water may not be making up. the paddle inside the door operates a common microswitch to either dispense ice or operates the water solenoid. check out the selector switch.
