Three party conference call

I have a MLS 12D. I need to be able to have a three party conference call, meaning I will be contacted by the first caller; I will then dial and connect to the second caller, then connect them both to a third party. Is this possible?

Once you receive your first call Press conference button. your first call will automaticaly be on hold. Press a line button to dial second number. Once call is connected Press conference button and you will have 3 way conference.

See, it is damn easy to make the three-way call as explained by the Vitaly above.
But sometimes you need many users to do the conversation and that time the best service I would suggest you which will give you the HD quality audio is the "Easy conference calls". Here you can get the Free Conference Call Facility. It also has the following features:-

  • No need to pre book
  • Instant set up
  • No credit card required!
  • Call recording
  • No contracts or monthly fees
  • 24*7 Service
  • High quality HD audio - never over VoIP!

How do I transfer a call to a 7 digit number? How do I conferance a call?

What release system do you have? You can only forward an extension outside if you have a Partner ACS R6.

How do I identify extensions, transfer calls, conference call, change time.

To identify the extensions: if its a display set, press feature 00 and the screen will show the extension number. press feature 00 to exit programming.
If its a non-display set access the intercom and call a display set.The extension number will be displayed on the screen that is recieving the call.

To transfer a call: while your on the call to be transfered, press the transfer button and then the extension number of the person you wish to transfer the call toand hang up.

For a conference call:while on the line with the first caller, press the conf key (the caller will be placed on hold) place a call to your second party when they answer press the conf key again. all 3 parties will be bridged(you + the 2 lines) to get rid of one of the callers press thier line and feature 6 (conference drop)

Changing the time on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11. At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
next press the left hand intercom twice
the display should say system programming
enter in "#103"
the display should say system time and the current programmed time
enter the new time in 24 hour format
press feature "00" to logout

Good luck, and I hope that this link helped.

Is there a Conference Call feature on ATT MLS 12D?

If by conference you mean inside and outside parties connected together the answer is yes. You should have a CONF button on the set. You press CONF, dial your second call and press CONF again. You can press CONF again and do it all over again to add a 4th party. There are restrictions and the conference is not amplified.

Here's a User guide to Partner phones. pdf page 3 has CONFERENCE instructions.

Four way calling

When you conference two lines or more together you get what you call line loss which makes the audio levels deteriorate. So to conference yourself and three others properly you may have to try a few different options to get the performance you want out of the conference call. Many phones/phone systems have three way calling which connects you and two others, so depending on the calls you wish to connect, an option would be to have one of your callers actively participate in the conference connection procedure. For example. You have a two line phone with a conference feature. So you call person A on one line and person B on the other, then hit the conference key. Now you have "Y" (yourself) and person A and B speaking together via the conference feature on your telephone. Now all you need is person A or B to have the same two line setup with the conference feature and they make the third call to person C and hit their conference button, now all four (Y,A,B&C) of you all talking together. If it is not possible to have one of the callers do this, you will need to have at least three phone lines and a phone that will enable you to have four way calling. However, you may want to dial 611 from your telephone, and try to get to a service rep., your local phone company may have some options for you. However, rather than investing in costly phone equipment, it might be cheaper to use a call conferencing service. They are fairly cost effective, and you basically have the three other partys call a toll free number at a specified time and you call get conferenced together for a fee. And last, you may want to research some VOIP options if all the partys have high speed connections. Good Luck
