Hi,you dont say what the model no of the fax is,but I think it can be the fax jX200.
Press the on/off button once less than a second and it will switch to auto print on.
Let me know if that does not help,resend your question again with the model no.

It keeps reading AUTO PRINT OFF


All you have to do is to switch between auto print off and auto print on.You do that by pressing the on /off button once and then it switch between settings,if you hold down the on /off buton it switchs off.By pressing the button once less than a second it will switch between auto print on or off.

Auto Print off...


Just press your on/off button once,then it will set to auto print.If you keep the on /off button press in for a few seconds it will shut down.By pressing it once it switch between auto print on and off.
I agree this is a funny setting on this model.
