How Do I program the hpm digital time switch hl 03705 Eco Rex d11

How to Program HL 03705 EcoRex D11 Timer

The "switch" is a small rod which can be moved 5 ways - left, right, up, down and IN.

Before programming check that time and date are correct.
Time - push switch IN, then down once until TIME flashes on display. Push switch IN, then up or down continually to select hour, then switch IN, then up or down continually to select minute. Push switch IN to save.
Date - push switch IN, then down twice until DATE flashes on display. Push switch IN, then up or down continually to select year, then push switch IN, then up or down continually to select month, push switch IN, then up or down continually to select day. Push switch IN to save.

Programming - for the sake of this exercise the timer will be set to come ON at 7am and OFF at 10pm, 7 days of the week.
Note the numbers 1234567 printed just above the display window. These represent the days of the week, starting with Monday.
1. Push switch IN, then down four times until PROG flashes on display. Push switch IN. The display shows a vertical line with numbers, at the bottom of which is a digital time which should show 0:00. This is midnight, Sunday to Monday.
2. Push switch up once, this advances the time 1 hour. Continue to push switch up, one hour at a time until the digital display shows 7:00. This is 7am Monday and will be the first ON time. (Push switch to the left to change minutes, each push advances time by 1 minute).
3. Now push switch to the right and HOLD there. BE PATIENT! It takes several seconds before the time changes, firstly a minute at a time, then in 15 minute blocks. Still holding the switch to the right watch the digital time display advance (don't look at the vertical line which has another thick line develop beside it as the time changes!) until it reaches 22:00, then release switch. This is the OFF time, 10pm Monday.
4. Push switch up once, this advances the time 1 hour. Continue to push switch up, one hour at a time until the digital display shows 7:00. This is 7am Tuesday and will be the next ON time. (Push switch to the left to change minutes, each push advances time by 1 minute). Note that there is a small dot under the number 2 at the top of the display to indicate it is Tuesday.
5. Now push switch to the right and HOLD there. Still holding the switch to the right watch the digital time display advance until it reaches 22:00, then release switch. This is the next OFF time, 10pm Tuesday.
6. Continue the steps #2 and #3 through Wednesday to Sunday. You will know when you are back to Monday by looking at the dot at the top of the screen returning to be under the number 1, OR when you return to 7am Monday there will be a thickening of the vertical line starting at 7:00.
7. PUSH THE SWITCH IN TO SAVE THE PROGRAM.

Testing - To check the program settings - push switch IN, then down five times until TEST flashes on display. Push switch IN.
Each upward push of the switch moves the display through each subsequent ON and OFF change. Check the day for each ON and OFF by viewing the dot under the numbers 1234567. After the last ON/OFF change the display shows PROG END.

Operating the Program
Push switch IN, then down six times until AUTO flashes on display. Push switch IN. The device now operates on the times that were programmed. The display returns to the "home" view, showing the current time, also vertical strips lined up under the numbers 1234567, representing the times of operation each day.
Outside the display window, at the bottom of it, the words OFF and ON are printed to the left and right respectively. A cursor points to one of these to show the current status of the device.
To bypass the program - push switch IN, then down past AUTO until ON or the next one, OFF, flashes on display. Push switch IN - at ON to have device permanently switched on or at OFF for device permanently switched off.

Hot tub in EC with light flashing

Ecn or Ec Message
Ecn or Ec Message

If the Ecn or Ec Message is Alternating with the Water Temperature on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Economy Heating Mode.

If the Ecn or Ec Message is ON Solid (Not Flashing) on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Economy Heating Mode, but there is No current water temperature because the Spa is between Filter Cycles.

Ecn or Ec is Alternating with Temp:
The Spa is Operating in the "Economy" (Ecn or Ec) Heating Mode.

The Water Temperature is Sampled Only during Programmed Filter Cycles. The Heater will Only operate and Heat up to Set Temperature during the Filter Cycles. The Water Temperature will probably drop Below Set Temperature between Filter Cycles. Other Heating Modes are Standard, Standard in Economy, and Sleep Modes.

Ecn or Ec is ON Solid (Not Flashing):
The Current Water Temperature is "Unknown" (- - - or - -) while in Economy or Sleep Mode.

Between Filter Cycles, while in the Economy or Sleep Heating Modes, the Pump has not turned ON and the Last Water Temperature is not Current. To read the Current Water Temperature, either Change to Standard Heating Mode or turn On the Heating Related Pump, and wait at least 2 Minutes.

The link on FixYa to the HB65R Intermatic timer Manual seems to be broken. Do you still have it?

Fixya does not have HB65 manual posted.
Open following link to identify timer and download manual in English.
If this is not your timer, add a comment with clear description of timer, or in-focus photo of timer posted on flicker, so I can locate possible manual.

The control panel flashes "EC" where the fridge temp is displayed. The word "service" is also flashing.

"EC 50" means excessive refrigerator compressor run time. What is the serial number? Is the condenser fan running? Can you feel airflow from the left side up top? Is the strip between the fridge and freezer hot to the touch?
