Hi!
E:91 is flash error. Could be a dead flash fuse on the main board or bad flash board. Contact your local Sony service center or if they ask too much, feel free to contact me at toms.safranovs@gmail.com
I work in Sony service center.

E:91:01 is an error code that indicates problem with flash unit circuit in camera.
Flash unit board will be replaced to resolve this problem and temporary fix is to set flash Off quickly, before error could appear after initializing camera, hope this info will help you.
Thanks.

Perform the following troubleshooting steps to check whether the issue is resolved.
1. Remove the battery from the Camera for 1 minute. Re-insert the battery in the Camera and check if the issue is resolved.

2. If the issue is not resolved, then try initializing the Camera.
The Initialize option is listed in Setup or Settings option in the Camera.

Problems with my Sony Cybershot W210

1) Make sure that you're not using more than 4 GB memory stick pro duo with the camera. Then try to remove the memory stick and capture 2 images in the internal memory and turn OFF and turn ON the Camera and check. If the error message comes, its the issue with the Camera itself and requires service after resetting. to reset the Camera, select Initialize under Main Settings 1 menu under Settings. if the issue persists, the camera may require service
If its working fine, transfer all the images to the Computer and format the memory stick. Formatting will delete all the contents. If the issue persists, memory stick should be replaced.

E:91:01 in DSC-W80

I can't recall all the Sony error codes off the top of my head, but I believe E:91 is that your flash is not working.

Can you take pictures at all or do you get just the error code? If you can take a picture with the flash off then your flash needs to be replaced.

If you can't use the camera you need to first press the reset button, then reset all camera settings to default.

1-3. PROCESS AFTER FIXING FLASH ERROR
When "FLASH error" (Self-diagnosis Code E : 91 : 01) occurs, to prevent any abnormal situation caused by high voltage, setting of the flash is changed automatically to disabling charge and flash setting. After fixing, this setting needs to be deactivated. Flash error code can be initialized by the operations on the HOME screen.

Method for Initializing the Flash Error Code
Initialize
Initializes the setting to the default setting. Even if you execute this function, the images stored in the internal memory are retained.
1 Select [Initialize] with v/V/b/B, then press z. The message "Initialize all settings" appears. 2 Select [OK] with v, then press z. The settings are reset to the default setting.

To cancel the resetting
Select [Cancel] in step 2, then press z.
· Make sure that the power is not disconnected during resetting.

Hope this helps.

Dropped my Cybershot DSC-T200 & now it doesn't work

Hi Emmygrace,

Dropping it can cause a several problems inside the camera from mechanical to electrical. To try and troubleshoot that yourself can be very difficult.
There are certain issues that you can fix by "banging it" but they are a last resort and ONLY if you are ready to trash the camera.

I'm sorry, it's probably not what you want to hear, but you really ought to take it to an authorized repair shop.
