I use pre-programmed options of operating the washing machine but the tank gets full with water and C2 message appears. Then I stop the machine. Earlier, I used to remove the pipe from behind the machine and water used to drain but now ever after removing the pipe, water is still in the tank. I have to empty the tank with buckets.
I opened the base and noticed that water is also in the lower compartment. What could be the possible issue? What part needs to be changed?
Kindly reply.

Check what are the program option in your gadget. Generally there will be two options one is NORMAL 55° (without pre-wash) and other is UNIVERSAL 55° or 65° (with a pre-wash).
Just try the first one. If it works then the second option has some problem but you can ensure that machine is otherwise working.

Approximately every 3 months (depending on your use and the water hardness), clean the machine with natural citric acid based decalcifying agent. 1. Add a descaling solution into the water reservoir. Mix thoroughly to dissolve (use warm water for better results). 2. Remove the filter holder and place a cup under the group head and another cup, or other container, under the steam wand to catch cleaning solution. 3. Turn espresso machine on, turn coffee pump on and run approximately 8 oz. of solution through the brew head. Turn machine off and let the machine sit for 15 minutes. 4.Run approximately 8 oz. through the steam wand, and again, turn machine off and let sit for 15 minutes. Repeat by allowing solution to run alternately through the steam wand and brew head. Turn espresso machine off after each cycle. Repeat process until solution has been run through. 5. Do not leave espresso machine on. Do not wait for the ready light to come on. Do not use the steam switch during this process. Do not allow reservoir to run empty! 6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly with fresh water. Refill reservoir with fresh water. Run half a tank of fresh water through group head, alternating between group head and steam wand.
Suspect low water flow rate ., check flow rate from main sink tap , when turned on full this should be pretty fierce. Put machine on normal cool wash , when it is taking in cold water through the soap drawer , pull out the drawer a little , the water flow rate should be allmost the same as the tap , if not investigate , fill pipes at rear etc..
IE is a water inlet error...meaning that the correct water level was not achieved within 8 minutes or it did not reach preset water level within 25 minutes...
CL is child lock feature which can be toggled on and off by by holding the Pre wash button in for 3 seconds.. Hope that helps...
