Have you tried connecting a different machine on the same line and establish internet connection? If it does try setting your network to obtain Ip's and DNS.

Right click on the two computers in the corner and click STATUS then Properties then select I cannot connect to the internet in the corner i - 84f78eb.jpg
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and double click it.
A new window will appear

just click on obtain on both radio buttons. Then click on Ok then Ok again.

Now try your Internet.

Hope this helps.

Are you connecting to wireless or ethernet,

the two computers in the corner only signal a connection, through ethernet or wireless.

You may need to configure the IP manually or your router/modem to issue an IP to your computer.

You need to provide more information to what you are connecting to and your hardware, do other computers next to you have connection to the internet?

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Computer will not connect to net

I am very skilled in wireless connectivity and networking. Chances are you have a driver issue. I am assuming you are trying to connect wirelessly. You need to right click your networking iconin the bottom right hand corner of the screen... Normally looks like a cell phone signal indicator.. See if you see your network in the list. From here what shows up will determine the next step ..

Im trying to get on the internet it will not let me it say im connected but the page say can not find server.

Try resetting the machine back to factory, this way the machine should forget all of your old found networks and re-look again for those in your neighborhood and synch to those. once back to your desktop, Click on the WIFI Power icon and then click on the on **** on and it turns to Power Off, then click on the little icon that looks like a small desktop computer down in the right corner. It will show two little radiating lines off to the side and perhaps a small red X. If it shows the red X then it has not found a useful connection. When you click on this icon, a box opens up with your Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) click on the Wireless tab, cursor to your network name, click on the advance tab and this should register your network as the preferred network. and ok it. This should establish your home network and every time you hit your WiFi icon and hit your Power On button and wait about thirty seconds the little computer icon should let the red X go away meaning that you have a viable connection.

Im having trouble hooking up my wireless connection.

1. Open a web browser on the computer.

2. In the address bar of the web browser, type http://192.168.2.1.

3. Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the page. The router does not ship with a password, so just click Submit.

4. Click on "Connection Type" under Internet WAN

5. Choose the appropriate connection as provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and press "Next"

6. You will need to enter the settings as provided by your ISP. If you have options such as Encapsulation and MTU, then these should be set to VCMUX and 1454.

7. Once all of the appropriate settings have been entered, you may click on "Apply Changes". Your Modem Router will now save this data and attempt to connect to the Internet.
Your Modem Router should now show you that the "Internet Status" is "Connected" in the top right-hand corner of the interface. On some Modem Routers you may need to select the "Connect" button found on the "Home" page.

If you need more help come back.Post / thumbs / testimonial are welcome!

Where do you turn the internet on

To get onto the internet you need modem internet connection. You can get this from from local cable company or phone company. They will provide you with a modem. Connect your computer to the modem or ask them to do it. Once your computer is connected Open "Internet Explorer" from the application menu on your computer. It should default to a page on the internet. In the upper left hand corner there is a space to type in a URL or internet address. On the right there is a search box type in Google. This will take you to the home page for Google. Now you can search the internet!!!

Facebook loading errors

It seems your system has a problem with Java updates or some spyware infection. First way to fix this problem is by reseting the IE7, Tools-IE options- Advanced- Reset-Reset All. The other permanent solution is to download Mozilla Firefox which is a better browser than IE.
