It is basically a hardware problem since your hardware(laptop) didn't respond when you turn it on. Are you running on battery mode or AC mode? if you're on battery mode try to check your battery it may be fully drained. Try to switch to AC mode by plugging into your AC adaptor/battery charger and see if it works.

Regards!

Cd tray eject button doesn t work - paper clip trick doesn't help

the "paper clip trick" isn't a trick. It is a MANUAL way to open the door far enough to pull it open and remove the contents. Straighten out the clip. Place it through the tiny hole just above the eject button. Be sure to push it straight in. When you feel resistance, push HARD. the door should open about a halt inch and allow you pull it all the open. It will not open automatically from a paper clip.

Why isnt my laptop reading discs?

Try removing the drive and insert it again so it connects properly. If this doesn't fix your problem then most likely the drive is faulty and needs replacing.

Hi, My Dell Vostro1510's DVD drive is nt working properly...it doesn't read/write/play a DVD/cd....let me know the way out......

You could try reseating it. Should be a little popout button that you push, it pops out and you can pull the drive out. Then just push it back in. See if that helps. Otherwise it may just be bad.

Last night, I went to close my garage door and as it started to close (door moved about a foot), it reversed directions and opened. I suspected a cat might have ran in and tripped the safety sensor, but,...

On the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find a small light. Check to see if it is flashing a code. It will flash a number of times then pause and then repeat. This will help diagnose the problem. Also make sure the trolley hasn't traveled too far and jammed against the bolt just in front of the motor unit. Post back.

My TV standby light keeps flashing for 10minutes then TV will not switch on. Does not respond to remote or the buttons on the TV panel. Please Help

If the standby light flashes but the set does not trigger or come ON, then it is confirmed that this is an error to signal there is a failure of the main section- drivers to the display.
Now the processor is working as it displays the flashing but the feedback error shows that the circuits is not powered due to this protection.
So disconnect the main power+B and check for short in each individual power circuits.
Check for faults on the driver IC or look for suspected capacitors , leaked or top blown.
Also finally check for dry solder joints, solder all suspected joints.

Intermittent water flow interupted by solenoids pulsing

I've got the same problem. If I pause the cycle, wait about 10 seconds, and then resume, the water starts normally. I suspect the Cold Water Inlet Solenoid is sticking, probably due to water sediment in the solenoid causing it to stick. I'll try cleaning it and then replace if that doesn't help and let you know what happens.
