Question about Stanton STR8-80 Turntable
I am the proud owner of a Stanton T.80 bought in Canada in 2006. Now I live in Spain, and I have taken this item with me.
As the Stanton T80 that I have is working with AC 120V, it does not work in Europe. I've tried with an AC converter from 240V to 120V, but every time I use it, the switcher ON of the stanton "dies". I think it is burned.
So, I would to substitute the power source, using an external one. I would like to know only the voltages out of the HK 411-80-408 EI-48, unit of the Stanton. With this little information about the DC voltages, I could get my stanton work properly again. I am plenty satisfied with this unit, so I don't want to change it.
Thank you all for your attention and time.

There is nothing more annoying than buying something second-hand to find parts are missing. I've had a look on the net for you and you could try these sites - they might be able to help.
www.HTFR.com and www.djdeals.com.
I wish you luck finding a weight and hope this has gone some way to helping!

Try the switch in the other position and see if that fixes the problem. some turntables had a phono level that is different than a standard rca line level input. Also try a different cable if the rca is not hardwired in to the turntable. The cable could be bad. If worse comes to worse upgrade to another amplifier or tuner that has a separate phono input. hope that helps.

Testimonial: "thanks a lot i've tried the switch in both positions but it could easily be the cable which is not hard wired!"
