Question about Konica Minolta bizhub 250 All-In-One Laser Printer

When typing in the address book of IE 8.0 it is showing HTTP 400 Bad Request for which I cannot connect to Konical Minolta Bizhub 350/250/200. I am able to print. But cannot scan

Bizhub needs a frmware upgrade. There was a firmware issue which caused this when .NET Framework 3.0 was installed on the PC.

How do you please enter an email address into the address book?

the web interface is the easiest. you need to type the ip address in your web brouser on your computer connected to the copier. then login admin. password is 00000000 or 12345678 it may have been changed and if so i can help with changing it back to factory default. once logged in you may need to refresh webbrouser to get the scan tab. there is your address book. and a place to add more

I've been having this exact problem with a C351 and it was driving me nuts... no solutions on the internet that I could find so I started investigating further to find something quite interesting... I ran a packet sniffer to capture the data from a browser that worked, and one that didn't. I then telnet'd to port 80 on my machine and manually sent the HTTP request commands. So, the culprit line on my browser sent:

Accept: image/gif, image/x-xbitmap, image/jpeg, image/pjpeg, application/x-shockwave-flash, application/x-ms-application, application/x-ms-xbap, application/, application/xaml+xml, application/, application/, application/msword, */*

Now, this was amazing... I'd remove 1 of those entries, and suddenly it would go from this:

So I ran the registry editor on my computer, went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Accepted Documents, saved this to file, and removed one. I had application/ which I wasn't too worried about so I removed it (I can restore it later should I need it). Sure enough, no the Minolta page loads absolutely find on my internet explorer. You may have to remove more than one entry as the next paragraph will explain why I think this is occuring.

I *think* that the "Accept:" line is too long and the built-in web server doesn't like it. That's my guess. I can remove ANY application/ and suddenly it works. I was easily able to remove 1, if this is an issue with a line problem you may have to remote more than 1 accepted-document. I don't recommend removing any image formats!!!! Also, like I say, backup that key first.
