I have an 1986 25 inch console tv that worked great until, while during a move, it was dropped. It worked fine with only a thin black line at the top that began to grow until 2 years later, it no longer works, Just want to know if it's worth making an effort to find someone who might want to cannibalize it for parts, or to just pitch it.
I have a curtis mathis console tv with a 8track player, casset player record player and a am/fm stereo, mod number on the box is F607 style TC2 seril number 04787814 new in the box never opened. where can i find out its value?

where from one hour to two hours before the picture comes on. what is the problem?
Your television can be fixed by a real TV repairman. You will just have to look for a old school repair shop with a good stock of vintage parts.

As a shop owner and technician I can assure you that most shops will just say pitch it... There is nothing electronically that a tech could use and very few 86 CM chassis units still alive..
Have a great day!
