Packard Bell F9150 desktop power supply

Hello, I have a Packard Bell F9150 desktop computer. Last night I put in sleep mode and when I woke up this morning it seemed dead.

I tried to restart several times, but nothing happens (no lights, noise or fan)
I suspect it is the power supply, but how can I know for sure?

Thanks

It's possible that your computer froze during sleep. First, unplug the power cord, (with the cord removed) press the power button for 10-20 seconds. PS: You will lose any unsaved data prior to sleep mode. Let me know if this doesn't resolve your problem, might be something major.

My computer hp s3700f keeps going black or sleep. Mode

Hello

You can prevent the computer from going into sleep or hibernation mode by going to the CONTROL PANEL - POWER SETTINGS.

Once here, change the settings to High Performance.

You can also go into advanced properties and manually change all of the settings - including when the hard drives go to sleep (I set this to NEVER), when the monitor will go to sleep (again, I set to never).

Computer sleep mode

Turn it off at night or if you leave it for an extended period. It still uses power even in sleep mode, plus the longer Windows runs, the more chance of corruption.

I need to know how to reboot my packard bell pc

Under the start menu there should be an option to shut down; restart; sleep. Use the restart option & it will start rebooting. If this does not work then close all your programs and hit ctrl+alt+del twice. This should start a reboot. Hope this helps.

Definitely the power supply. However, it could have damaged the motherboard as well but you won't know until you replace the power supply.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
