My computer won't recognize my sansa express and I cannot find the "usb mode" in my settings.

First, try a soft reset. Do this by pressing the center button and the up volume button simultaneously and try turning it on. If that does not work for you, you will need to get a micro sd card (it can be a dummy) and insert it into the slot on the side of the mp3 player. If you do not have one, you can use one of the round edges of a paper clip (be careful) to get it to come on. When you put either in, it should come on automatically, but if not, just press the power button. This should work.

Computer wont recognize Sansa Mp3

There are two connection settings in USB: MTP and MSC. For some reason MTP is the default, but it doesn't connect properly on all computers. Select MSC and plug the player in again, the computer will recognize sansa e250 but not show the driver just yet. It is installing recognition software (just basic drivers - nothing heavy) and it doesnt tell you what its doing until its complete. WAIT FOR IT. Once it is complete you will see both the sansa e250 and the removable memory slot in your "my computer" now you're good to go.

My sansa player does not recognize a micro sd when its inserted

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. You can use a separate card reader to put files onto the microSD card. When the card is installed into the Sansa, the Sansa will see the additional music.

My Sansa Sandisk express flash drive mp3 player wont come on

firstly you should only remove a usb device "correctly" otherwise problems can occur with device ,pc or both.....when usb device connected there is a small icon on taskbar with a green arrow on it....to renove device right click this icon and choose apprpriate device to STOP....there is a reset button that you can press to reset settings...look for a 1mm hole and put a pin into it and push...goos luck

Computer doesn't recognize MP3 player -

I had the same problem, all you have to do is first turn on the Mp3.Then go to settings. Then go down to USB mode. It will probably say, auto detect. But instead scroll down to MSC. If that doesn't work try MTP.
