You could also say that any written essay material that is copied word for word from texts that they have used will be marked as cheating because they are using someone else's work and not their own especially also if you can say where they have quoted from. Refer also to Bill Boyd in regards to the maths questions

Probably not
if you are using a page type work book then there is no way to stop any one from going on the net
fortunately students who do this tend to copy then answer exactly and that may be a way of tracking who is doing that as a student who works it out will show errors in the answer from their thinking process such as punctuation, spelling, phrasing, words in use and shades of understanding of what the answer required was
If it is mathematics , make it a necessary method to show exactly all working steps to the answer as most net answers don't show that part

Hello NSFAS I can't access on MyNSFAS student portal because I have forgotten my email and I've lost my cell phone number. When I do recovery account it says I'm answering wrong questions. Thank you

Question edited for clarity and remove you phone number. This site gets 11 MILLION views a year!
Question moved from Cellphones to Misc.

The problem is that we are FIXYA dot com, we are not who you think we are! You just found THIS site on a search engine. furthermore, we are in North America, not in Zambia. We get so many lost South African students, we know the answer. You must contact them by PHONE or email DIRECT.

Forgot my student number ,kamogelo motlhankana 9903270404086 ,can u please help me?

FIXYA is not a university or government institution.

FIXYA answers are free, but often because of the distance from the United States or England, there is only internet search using Google.com available to answer a question from students in South Africa. Part of an education is learning to search the internet for answers to research questions.

It is unclear if you forgot your student number for a university in South Africa such as UNISA.

If that is so, please try the menu for forgot student number on the web site for UNISA.

I like to know about my nsfas status im thabisile lucy ndlovu I apply last year november...my number 0720284735 thank you

Hello -

You will need to contact the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) in South Africa directly to find out your status (application status?)

This is the link to the NSFAS home page:
http://www.nsfas.org.za/content/
Currently, at the top of that web page you should see a notice for 2018 funding applicants.

If you scroll down that page, near the bottom of the page you will see a column headed with the word STUDENTS. Click or tap on the Student Support link. You may have other questions listed in the questions, with answers there.

By the way, your question landed in the Fixya.com category of Computers & Internet and not the Financial Aid category.

Fixya.com is not the best website for asking your questions about university financial aid or universities in South Africa. It is intended as a website for asking and answering questions about repairing _things_. If you have a public library (a library funded with local or provincial government money) in your area, I recommend you ask your questions there . . .either in person or through a telephone call.

I am a librarian by profession in the USA.

Best wishes.

How do I change my contact details in my nsfas form

Hello, Minenhle -

I suggest you contact NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme, in South Africa) directly and ask your questions of someone who is knowledgeable in that agency.

This is the link to the NSFAS Contact Us web page:
http://www.nsfas.org.za/content/contact.html

Look for the column headed Student Enquiries.

Note: Fixya.com is probably not the best website for asking questions about university financial aid agencies in South Africa. Fixya.com is intended to be a website for questions and answers about repairing _things_.

I am in the USA and a librarian by profession. If you have a public library (one funded by local or provincial government funds), I suggest you ask your questions of a librarian there, so that you will not be subjected to incorrect information and rude answers.

Best wishes.

MY STUDENT NUMBER IS 64336387 AT UNISA,CAN PLEASE HELP ME PROCESS MY GRANT APPLICATION FOR NSFAS FOR 2018?

Hello -

I hope I am correct in thinking you need the help of an adviser at the University of South Africa in applying for a grant (a bursary?) from the South African National Scheme Student Financial Aid Scheme?

First, Fixya.com is intended to be a website for asking and answering questions about how to repair _things_.

Second, your question landed in the Fixya category for Computers & Internet and not Higher Education or Financial Aid.

After making those points, you will need to go the the UNISA web site This is the link to the home page:
http://www.unisa.ac.za/sites/corporate/default

On the home page you should see the MyUNISA link, the portal for UNISA students. There is also a Contact Us link near the upper right of the home page, which you can choose to obtain a telephone number to speak with a real person.

Also, this is the link to the NSFAS home page:
http://www.nsfas.org.za/content/
Scroll down that page and look in the lower right corner of the page to find telephone numbers you can call.

Best wishes.

Hello, Cebisile -

I hope I am correct in assuming you reside in South Africa. If so, you need to take your questions to NSFAS, National Student Financial Aid Scheme:
http://www.nsfas.org.za/content/

Scroll down that home page and look on the lower right corner of the web page. Click on the Contact Us link to see the telephone number you can call and the email address to which you can send a message with your questions.

Fixya.com is a web site for asking and answering questions on how to repair things. Also, your question landed in the category for Computers & Internet and not Higher Education.

TI 83 when hit Stat Plot, get error archive

Dear Professor,

I bet you do not like it when one of your students keeps harping on the same string. So please, do not duplicate your questions. Some people may construe that as an attempt to spam.

Here is the answer I gave to your duplicate question.

Hello,
Press [2nd][MEM][2: Mem Mgmt/Del][1:All] and scroll down to see if a system variable or other entity that is needed for graphing may have been archived. A variable that is archived has an asterisk next to it on the left.
To unarchive it press ENTER when the arrow reaches it.
You may be able to draw your graphs. It you are unable, I suggest you reset the Ram: Press [2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All Ram][2:Reset] [ENTER]. Press [CLEAR] to erase the message and restart the statistics.

Hope it helps.
