Hi i have a e7 code on my lifespan fit e3i elliptical help please

For E6 and E7 codes, while this code is displayed:

First, press and hold Level Minus, then the Start key (the Level Minus key first), for 2 seconds. (make sure you press Level Down a little before Start.) The console should beep twice; the display does not change.

If the potentiometer value on the left of the screen is higher than 240, press and hold the Ramp minus key to lower the ramp until the value is in a range between 48 and 240. Then release the button. May reset by itself now. Or, turn the elliptical off and back on to reset. If ramp goes up to 255 and won't move in any mode, unplug power for 20 minutes.

If the potentiometer value is lower than 48, press and hold the Ramp plus button to raise the incline until the value is in a range between 48 and 240. Then release the button. May reset by itself now. Or, turn the elliptical off and back on to reset.

Now press Start, and pedal for 30 seconds. The ramp should reset to zero, the lowest level.

Sportsart treadmill error 7

Treadmill Parts for SportsArt Belts Motor Brushes SPORTSMITH net
ERR7 Definition: The display board main IC didn't receive the incline variable resistor (VR) value, or the value exceeds the set range. Explanation: The incline VR voltage changes as the incline motor operates, and the display board CPU uses the VR voltage to calculate the incline position. Without this value, the CPU cannot instruct the incline motor what to do, so ERR? appears. Or when the incline set is out of alignment, the VR value exceeds the set range.

The following is a list of possible solutions:

1. Incline Set a) Inspect whether the Incline ERR LED on the drive board lights. This LED indicates that the incline set has exceeded the range. b) Inspect whether the incline set mechanically exceeds range. On DC incline motors, at the 0% position, the line on the thin incline pipe will not align with the end of the thick pipe. On AC motors, at the 0% position, the red line will not appear even with the bottom of the incline window in the incline set. See Incline Troubleshooting Manual for details. c) Inspect whether the incline VR voltage exceeds the range: Put multimeter probes on the incline VR set blue and green wire connectors, while keeping the wires connected. Refer to Incline Troubleshooting Manual for the voltage range for your treadmill. If the incline range is exceeded, either mechanically or electronically, calibrate the incline set. Refer to the Incline Calibration in the Incline Troubleshooting Manual for directions. If the incline set cannot be calibrated electronically, replace the incline VA. If the incline set is stuck and cannot be unstuck, replace the whole incline set. 2. Drive Board Inspect incline voltage on the blue and green wires at the drive board. If voltage is within range, and ERRl appears, inspect drive board component connections and components for wear. 3. Ribbon Cable Inspect ribbon cable for breaks. Inspect connections at the display and drive boards. 4. Display Board Inspect IC connections. Push down to secure connections. Re-insert les.

How to recalibate a pro-form 595LE treatmill.

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
The Steps for Newer Style Console Calibration
1.Locate the calibration area on the rear or underside of the console (a hole, near the console's center, that goes through to the electronics board. (This hole should not have a screw in it.)
2.Insert a pencil (eraser end), into the hole and feel around for the cal button (will click when pressed).
3.Press the button 2 times (with the pencil eraser). The first click should show CL11 in the console, the second click should show CL21.
4.If the process was done correctly, and CL21 appears in the console, you are in "calibration mode." The next few steps consists of pressing buttons on the console and observing settings. This will not require any other tools.
5.Press ENTER. CL22 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.
6.Press ENTER. CL23 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.
7.Press ENTER. CL24 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.
8.Press ENTER. CL25 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.
9.Press ENTER. CL26 should display in the TIME window. You should then see the letter "E."
10.Press ENTER. You should see "SS" or "55" in the console.
11.Push the STOP/START button. For safety, at this point, you should step off, or be off, the treadmill.
12.Push the ENTER button. The walking belt should start to move, accelerate to maximum speed, then stop on its own.
13.When the belt stops, the incline should self test by raising to its highest incline position, then lowering back down to its lowest position.
14.Once the incline test is complete, push the POWER button 2 times. The unit should shut off and the console should go completely blank. If this happens, the treadmill is done calibrating and is ready for use.
If the letter "F" appears in the SPEED or INCLINE window when the power button is pressed 2 times, the treadmill is indicating a failure somewhere either in the SPEED or INCLINE (depending on the window the "F" appeared in). Troubleshooting the failure would be the next step.

Cuts off and speed is variable and shows err 4

Precor Error E4, Incomplete Initialization Probable Cause Indicates that an incomplete upper PCA to lower PCA initialization occurred. When this error occurs, all lift motor and drive motor motion is ceased and the display will go blank except for the error displayed.
Corrective Action Run the initialization program. Caution: The treadmill's running belt will accelerate to the treadmill's maximum speed (12mph). DO NOT stand on the treadmill's running belt during the procedure.
  1. Set the on/off switch to the OFF position. Wait a minimum of 10 seconds to allow the internal power supply to discharge.
  2. Remove the safety key from the console and set the on/off switch to the ON position.
  3. Press INCLINE UP and SPEED DOWN keys together. While pressing these keys, replace the safety switch on the console. Continue holding the INCLINE UP and SPEED DOWN keys until the display goes blank. INIT will appear in the time window of the display. The EEPROM is now clear and reset. After a second, 1.25 will appear in the distance/calories window, 15.0 (the maximum incline) will appear in the incline window, and 12.0 (the maximum speed) will flash in the speed/pace window.
  4. Press QUICKSTART to begin the speed calibration process. Power bits will appear in the incline window, the target speed will appear in the time window and the actual speed will appear in the speed/pace window. At the beginning of the process, the target speed will be .5mph. The running belt will start. Once the actual speed reaches .5mph, the target speed will then change to 12mph and the running belt will accelerate until it reaches 12mph, then it will stop.
  5. When the running belt stops, the display will return to the user mode and the initialization process is complete.

Error 7

Incline calibration is necessary when: the display shows ERR7, the drive board incline error LED ( LED5) lights or the incline has extended beyond its normal rangeThe goal of calibration is to synchronize the incline set mechanically and electronically. Mechanical calibration sets the incline motor pipe to the 0% position. This happens when the red line on the thin pipe is even with the end of the thick pipe. Electronic calibration sets the variable resistor (VR) value to the 0% position. This happens when the voltage across the VR blue and green wires is 1.20 VDC.
Readings of VR voltage (blue and green wires) should show around 1.20 VDC at the lowest position and around 3.80 VDC at the highest position. If the VR looses calibration or cannot be set to 1.20 VDC, replace the VR. If the incline motor gets voltage from the drive board but fails to operate, replace the incline motor set. If the incline fuse blows again and again, replace the incline motor set.
