It sounds likely that the DVD drive has developed an internal fault and should be replaced. You should be able to obtain a replacement DVD drive easily and at a reasonable cost.
To replace the DVD drive, follow the instructions in the Upgrade & Servicing Guide for your HP Pavilion 750N desktop system which give clear instructions for doing this task.

This model of computer does not have a blu-ray drive unless you got a third party upgrade. In this case, you will need to track down special drivers, which can best be done by whomever sold you the drive.

Difficulty to open cd rom o my pc how to solve?

Repairing your Optical Drive problem isn’t that difficult task.

Unfortunately you have failed to prove the Manufacturer Name and Model Number of your particular specific CD-ROM Optical Drive so I am unaware of what particular specific CD-ROM Optical Drive information to provide.

However if you use Google Search ( and search the topic Repair CD-ROM you will be able to obtain information on how to disassemble and repair your specific CD-ROM Optical Drive. Examples of a Google Search are provided below ->

The most difficult part of the repair will be finding the correct size replacement 0-Ring that fits your particular specific CD-ROM Optical Drive. You could try checking with local Computer Repair Shops and see if the have a broken CD/DVD Optical Drive that has the correct size 0-Ring that might work in your particular specific CD-ROM Optical Drive.

On another note now days Optical Drives are inexpensive and you can obtain a replacement CD/DVD Optical Drive for less than 30 bucks.
Hope it helped you. Thanks.

Dics Drive Upgrade for Toshiba Satillate.

As far as i know thats impossible. Your optical diskdrive is made just for those speeds that you have on it. You cant change the manufacture settings and speed it upp, or make it to an dual layer disk.
Buy a new one whit the needs that u want and replace the old one. Its easy done and its not that expensive.

Good luck to you
