Question about Casio Exilim EX-Z3 Digital Camera
I have a Casio Exilim EX-Z3 digital camera. My daughter accidentally dropped it on the carpet while the camera was on. Now all the buttons are not working, and the lens wouldn't move. When I press On/Off button, the LCD screen flashes for two seconds, then turned off. I tried to download the driver to see if that can help, however, I couldn't find any from the website.
What can I do to possibly fix it? Do I need to send it to a repair center?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Does the lens retract when you shut the camera off? Or at least press the On/Off button?
It doesn't sound like there is a problem with the lens if your buttons aren't working, it sounds mostly to me that a cable got dislodged and that has disabled your buttons and zoom switch.
You can try sending it to this guy - www.darntoothysam.com he might beable to help you.
