Service Mode How can I get into Service Mode (SP) ? I have AP3800C...

PLEASE ENTER THE SP MODE AND THEN PRESS 5801 TO ENTER THE FRMATTING MODE .
SELECT FORMAT HDD AND EXECUTEE.

Thats a fuser error. Thermistors needs to be replaced. Alternatively you can try clearing the code in sp mode push yellow button 107 and hold red button. Select 1 and the 5 (mode) then clear scs.

YOU NEED TO PRESS C BUTTON(RED) LATER PRESS KEY 1 , KEY 0 , KEY 7 & HOLD THE YELLOW KEY FOR SEVERAL SECONDS, THEN THE MACHINE WILL ENTER SP MODE

you had to go into sp mode....then go to drum function.....tap the
execute .....the pcu will automatic mix the new toner and will reset the teh copier/printer sensor.....now dear Jocelyn,do you know how to enter the sp mode........

To reset fuser SC codes you need to enter Service Programme Mode and reset SP5-810 to 1, then turn the main switch off and on again. If you need help on entering SP mode etc. then take a look here.

FOR RICOH AFICIO SP 3400SF follow below steps.

1. To access Service Mode, On Control Panel press following buttons one
by one immediately.

Cancel Button (Red) ---> 1 (Numeric One) ---> 0 (Numeric zero) ---> 7
(Numeric Seven) ---> Copy Button (Green)

2. In Service Menu you will find Engine reset Menu. In that you can reset
SC 545 in Fuser Reset Menu. And you can also reset SC 542.

Hold down the two arrow keys and count to 5, hit the enter key, the machine should be in serrvice mode if nor repeat. use arrow ke and scroll to machine press enter scroll to data log press enter scroll to pm counter reset presss enter, scroll to fuser oil press enter and exicute this mod Please. DO NOT GO INTO ANY THING ELSE or you could do serious damage to your machine!! If your machine has a Copy feature expander yopt must press Clear mode, Press 1-0-7 and then hold down the stop cancel key 4sec. go into copy sp mode press 7-804-809 press exicute button again Please DO NOT GO ANY WHERE ELSE as damag can be done to your machine. SC 542 is a fuser code that may need resetting. and this should be only done by an qualifyed service representitive as it requiers going into service mode and going into copy sp 5-810 and having it reset or if this does not work you may need a new fuser unit! Again service mode will need to be entered to reset the SC542 as this is a safty feature built in to the copier to keep it from ferther damage

Fuser is not reaching operating tempurature. turn off the unit. Take the fuser out and reseat it. Power it back up. Ricoh Printers Error Codes Normally there are 3 levels of service call conditions in Ricoh printers.

Level A is the highest level. Machine can not be used until code is reset. The printer cannot be operated at all. Here is a list of common error codes.
Level B: The SC might be reset by turning the main switch off and on in some conditions.
Level C: The printer can be operated as usual except for the unit related to the service call.
SC302: High voltage power supply error
SC306: Charge roller home position error
SC320: Polygon mirror motor error
SC320: Polygon mirror motor error
SC500: Main motor error
SC542: Fusing temperature warm-up error
SC543: Fusing overheat error

switch the machine off at the switch hold down online and escape while switching on the switch , hold the buttons till you see service mode on screen , you need to go to engine , then drum , there you will find the setting to reset the pcu , or under data log is a function pm counter clear if it is giving you replace pcu on the screen
