Sweet ain't it? For $335 bucks I would get a dude to hook that puppy up just to make the warranty dudes stand at attention if that baby boy takes a dump. The basic terminals are all the same as any other two stage heat pump with aux heat and many special features. Dude get a dell! Seriously if you ain't a HVAC guy I would say get somebody to back you up on this one. That is just my dumb opinion.

If you are careful about marking wires, and ensuring that you put things on the correct terminal, it is not that big of a deal. If on the other hand you have any doubts about being able to complete the job, it is probably better to call you local service tech. (It really is just as easy to swap wires one by one sometimes, or write/draw a diagram....) Good Luck

How do I change the battery on Honeywell Thermostat T8001C?

According to the manual for the model series (see link), only the T8002 Model has batteries. They are accessed from the right side of the thermostat. See page 14.

My Model TH8320U1008 touchscreen not working. I have replaced the batteries, still doesn't work. Is there a way to reset it?

I dont think its your thermostat. The 8000 pro series is relatively new. I think is you furnace you lost 24 Volt power. Check the furnace out first. www.fastacservice.com

Trying to replace honeywell T8001C thermostat with new honeywell RTH7600. The old had a brown not used & a blue. On the new unit not sure where they go. Hooked it up with red, yellow, white, green &...

Red is usually hot side of transformer, yellow is for the a/c compressor, white is for heater, green is for the blower fan,now the blue could be energize for heat or the common side for the transformer, brown can also be the common side of the transformer. It sounds like you need the blue wire connected to the common side for the thermostat....but be careful. Some units use this as a energize wire and are not a common. I would find out what furnace model you have then look online and double check what this wire is or you could damage the new thermostat and/or the 24 volt system on your fau. And also always have the power to the unit disconnected so you do not ground a circuit.
