Bought a 2nd hand N64 & don't know how to set it up on the tv as no instructions.

You now need to find a channel on your TV that ins't used for anything else (eg an old vhs player or non-digital tv) then whilst on that channel you need to go into your TV's menu, there is often a button both on the remote and TV itself for this. This is where you turn on your N64 if you haven't already. You then will need to go onto automatic tuning (or if you prefer, manual tuning, in the programme section (if you dont have a programme section, just srcoll through each section till you find automatic tuning) your TV should then start to search for channels, after a little while of searching it should find the N64's frequency it may be a terrible picture that is mostly fuzz you can either carry on the tuning to see if it'll find it better or just head straight to fine tuning (if you decied to keep going you can still fine tune for the best picture quality possible and also if the TV doesn't find it just follow the previous steps till it locates the N64 again) once fine tuned you will need to store this new channel and then you can go ahead and enjoy countless hours of fun on the worlds best gaming console. (If the automatic tuning doesn't find the N64 at all try manual tuning). If you have any other issue with the console itself just drop me an e-mail at Hope I was a help.

The digital switchover is today.I have contacted the national helpline who advise choose menu and then choose install which I cannot locate. Can you please advise the steps I need to take. We have lost...

If your TV is not in Digital it won't give you the tuning option.
Select DTV from the on screen menu, (like scart 1 scart 2 etc). When you have found DTV select it and then press menu for tuning.
Hope that helps.

Hi there!

If using an RF Converter you will have to tune whatever you connect to it onto UHF Bandwidth until it locks. You would tune it like you would tune any other station. So as an example tune a tv station onto CH1 and the DVD onto CH2 etc. Regards and good luck. JUS004
