we have taken the switch assembly out of the jukebox and perfomed a resistance check thru the switch contacts to the end of the first wire conector. I had talked to the people I bought it from, they thought it could be a programming issue. I have since orderd all the manuals for the unit, but found nothing in them that applies to programming. The resistance thru the contacts and connector was at 5ohm or less.

Hi, Welcome to FixYa

I guess it's a ladder switch, there are three banks of buttons.
Take a Digital voltmeter and check the continuity between the contacts first.

I suppose, it's a "ladder switch circuit", and the problem(s) are in the # 3 button. If it is a "ladder" type
switch, check to see if when the # 3 button is "at rest" the
connections are made to the # 1, #2 switches.

You can go through the steps in the link if you want to open the turntable.

How do I rest the Service indicator for a 2005 CLK Cabriolet? None of the suggestions listed below worked for me.

First make sure all of the doors, hood, trunk, etc are closed.
Turn the key to position 1
Press system select button(lower left buttons on the steering wheel) that looks like sheets of paper until you see mileage reading or temperature displayed.

Press the brightness button on the lower left instrument cluster 3 times. You should hear a signal and see voltage on the display.

Turn the key to position 2

Press the lower scroll forward/back button(steering left arrows)). You should see "service indicator" on the screen

Press the Brightness button again once. You should see oil type on the screen.

Select the oil grade you used by pressing the + & - buttons on the upper right on the steering wheel.

Press the scroll forward/backward button to confirm. Confirm oil reset, press R(brightness button on lower left on cluster) for 3 seconds should appear on the display.

Service confirmed should appear on the display.

Press the upper forward/backward button & "service indicator" appears on the display.

Press the upper system select button(lower left steering wheel button on left) The display should go back to basic mileage or temperature.

If all else fails. I believe the shortcut I took as a tech was, turn the key to the first position, scroll until you see the temperature or mileage displayed. Turn the key off, push in the brightness button and HOLD it while turning the key to the 2nd position. You should see something like do you want to reset service? press R(brightness) button for 3 seconds and it should reset.

Good luck. The newer cars are worse.

Ps3 when i turn it on has a yellow screen and wont load games

Try this:

Turn the console to stand by, you can do this by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.

When it is on stand by (a solid red light shows) hold the power button for 3 beeps, remove your fingers on the third beep which should be a double beep.

This should take you to reset your console. You should see 6 options. Select option 2 then the system will go blank. Repeat the above but this time select option 3.

Your PS3 should work after. Good Luck!

Error code e10

Communication failure =E10
1. Rotate the CYCLE SELECT KNOB to the 3 O’clock
position.
2. Press and hold the Select and Pause Cancel
buttons simultaneously for (6) seconds.
3. Immediately after, press and hold the START and
Pause Cancel
buttons simultaneously for (4)
seconds.
4. Rotate the CYCLE SELECT KNOB to the 2 O’clock
position.
The STATUS indicator lights will flash the number of
times for the first digit of the code and the START indicator
light will flash the number of times for the second digit.
The code is obtained by counting the number of times
the lights flash. Example E24: the STATUS indicator
lights would flash twice indicating the 2 and the START
indicator light will flash four times indicating the 4. The
STATUS indicator lights and the START indicator light
will start flashing at the same time. The control will then
pause for 2 seconds, then repeat the code.
Troubleshoot the problem by using the chart on next
page.
To move to the next code, press the OPTIONS button.
To clear code, press the Select botton.
To exit this mode, simultaneously press and hold the
Select and Pause Cancel buttons for (6) seconds to
reset.
if this does not work need to replace control
