My Dell XPS M1530 is locked up. It launches ok but the keyboard and touchpad do not work. I rebooted a few times and it didn't work

I used a USB mouse and then found out it was my touchpad and keyboard drivers were corrupted (via Device Manager). I needed to uninstall and re-install the driver. I just did the touchpad since I had the USB mouse. I rebooted and things started working again including the keyboard.

Scroll on my touchpad doesnt work

You need to download your touchpad driver made for your XPS off the dell website. When windows installs, or when you buy a laptop, it doesn't come with the latest drivers.

My Dell XPS M1530 is experiencing a key lock problem (keys Y,U,H,J,N,M and 6&7)

You need to check if your keyboard is working fine or not. First of all if you have an external USB keyboard, try to use it. You can also try to use the onscreen keyboard. Go to start>programs> accessories> accessibility and choose on-screen keyboard. Open a notepad and check the keys which are not working. If you are able type those letters, it means that the integrated keyboard needs to be replaced.
