Don't waste your energy with it if you can't just physically turn it on. TV's are basically a throw away item when they go out but with that said if it is still under warranty then have them replace it. Good luck.

What is the problem on this tv set model 21PT3324/71 philips that have no power or dead set no red light indicator.thank you for response

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Hi Rito,
No power means the power supply board in your set is not working at all or the ac power is not reaching there. so the power supply board has to be checked and repaired or replaced.

42PFL5432D/37 WONT COME ON DEAD/NO POWER LED DISPLAY/2 YEARS OLD

An issue i came across with this particular model tv was there were two (2) 3300 micro-farad 25v caps on the power board that have gone bad, preventing the tv from starting up. I replace those two capacitors and it started right up! I suggest having a tech do it, unless u have experience with electronics. I cannot be held responsible for any damage done to your tv, warranties voided, or shocks you may receive. but that should get it to start back up.
