Question about Creative Labs ZEN Vision:M Digital Media Player
To format a Creative Zen is quite simple. Turn off you player. Then
hold the play button and turn on your player. You will now see a menu
that gives you options to format. After, select the option to reboot/
There are other options to clean up and reload firmware also.

If there is a small hole on the bottom of your Zen, then this is a simple matter. All you need to do is just turn off your Zen, use a needle, pin, or something small that will fit inside of it, and hold it there pressing the button in as you turn it on and it will send you to a 'safe mode' menu giving you multiple options, Clean Up, Format All (which would be the one that you would choose), Reload Firmware, and Reboot.
