The manual I just download from Teac shows two sockets for each speaker. Is this a second-hand model? It's possible that someone has tampered with it, perhaps fitting a headphone socket to the back of the unit with the speakers wired to one plug.

I have a problem with the right hand speaker

this can be a faulty jack socket on your laptop, i.e. has been knocked a couple times with the jack. to test wiggle the jack till other speaker pops in. if this doesn't work switch where the speakers attach to if the right hand speaker starts to work through the left channel then their is issues with the right channel, try switching the aux lead if it comes back then its just the wire if not it can either be your jack socket on the laptop or a blown connection on the speakers.

you can pay for people to repair these but your looking at least 100 labour and parts

My door speakers wont play but my box does

Hello
Check the speakers first. Then check the wiring. There are Front Right, Front Left, Rear Right, Rear left speakers and supply, antenna, etc are connected by one pin to a socket. Check this pin&socket for rigid connection. Unplug and replug it two or more times, so that if there is any loose contacts with this socket and pin connections will be rectified. If this does not help you, check the internal connection of this socket, This is actually a skilled work, you have to open your player. The fault is surely with this socket and pin connections itself. Work out with concentration. Check the door speakers first before doint anything further. If you fail to detect the fault, let it retified by any auto-electrician. No internal circuit fault to this set is there. OK.

Hello, I just bought a BEHRINGER MS40 from an authorized dealer "SENIA" from Romania, I'm from Romania by the way, the woofer speaker from the right side is making noises when the frequency is...

Have you connected the Left speaker to the right speaker using the supplied cable? If not, connect the cable to the socket on the back of the right speaker labelled "to left speaker" and on the left speaker, to the socket labelled "from right speaker"
If this still doesn't solve the problem, try swapping the input cables (put the white plug in the red socket and vice versa) to see if this makes the left speaker produce sound, if it does, check the connection at the source to check the plug(s) are in all the way. If there is still no sound in the left speaker, unplug everything and do the following:
connect the left and right speakers with the supplied phono lead (Probably black) between sockets labelled "to left speaker" and "from right speaker"
then connect the source to any of the inputs on the back of the right speaker (ensure if using the red and white phono inputs that both are connected)
finally plug in power source.
Hope this helps

I want to plug directly into a dvd player a telefunken tdv8300 how can this be done?

First, make sure that you connected the cables like this flo210_1.jpg
In the right side of the picture, you have an RCA-RCA cable. Find on the back of the dvd player, sound section> right and left RCA sockets. It doesn`t matter if they are not the same color, just plug the two RCA cables into the right and left sockets on the back of the dvd player

I have an mp3 player that i want to hook up to my logitech x-540 speakers but when i do it only plays on the front, or rear speakers depending on which cord i plug it into, is there a way where i can use...

An MP3 player is a stereo device, meaning that it works on two channels - left and right. Therefore a 5.1 speaker system will only play on 2 speakers.

However, if you want to use rear speakers as well, just for the fun of it (you won't get any surround effects, both left speakers will play the left channel, and both right speakers the right channel) you can purchase a "headphone Y-adaptor", that normally allows two people to use two pairs of headphones on the same portable music device.
It has one headphone plug and two headphone sockets in parallel. Plug it into the player, and to the sockets plug the front and rear speaker cables :)

Please come back with a testimonial if helped :)

Just need to know how to hook up proper for stereo sound

start with the right speaker, that is you control for now. plug in the power supply one end to the wall the other to the right speaker, connect the left and right speakers, connect the sub woofer to the right speaker, (most of the plug and sockets are color coded, or at least different sockets sizes so they will only fit properly with the correct connector) now you should have one wire left coming out of the right speaker-that gets connected into the GREEN socket of you computer.
Now you should get sound...good it works.
From here we go to START->SETTINGS->CONTROL PANEL->RIGHT CLICK ON SOUND AND AUDIO DEVICES->VOLUME TAB->ADVANCE (TO THE RIGHT OF SPEAKER VOLUME->SPEAKER SETUP->FOR THE DROP DOWN ARROW SELECT DESKTOP STEREO SPEAKER->APPLY->OK
And that my friend is properly done.
enjoy,,, please leave a rating, thank you

No sound

Check the easy stuff first...is you power supply for the speaker plugged in the wall and the right speaker? Then is you right speaker plugged into the left speaker? Are the speakers turned on (light indicator on the right speaker) then is the micro jack plugged into the GREEN socket ? *I know this is a laptop and doesn't have an additional sound card-this is info for desktop models only *If there are two green sockets (one on the motherboard and one a sound card that has be added) make sure to plug into the bottom socket. Check to see if the volume is turned up on the computer and check to see if the MUTE button is not engaged.
hope this is what you needed, good luck,
please leave rating, thank you kindly
