For whatever reason, sometimes an image or video will not download from the camera to the computer directly.

To try this, you will need to find a computer that has a slot that can accept the camera's memory card. Some Toshiba Tecras, for example, have something called a "Bridge Media Adapter Slot".

Read your computer manual and make sure you can fit the Canon's memory card into that slot.

You all probably know what comes next: Open the memory card's directory structure, navigate to your stubborn images and videos and start copying them to your computer's directory system.

I had this problem with a 1.5 GB video I really didn't want to lose, and just now tried this with great success.

Hopefully, this will help you just as well as it did me. :-)

My Cannon MP470 scans images/files on the computer slightly crooked although the paper is lined up perfectly. (I know how to use a scanner) Is there a fix to this?

I've had the ssame issue in the past and it is very frustrating especially if they are importatant documents. I put my papers side ways at times just to line it up. You can attempt to fix it rebooting it. Unplug it from every plug then restart it.

WONT REV ABOVE 3500 RPM

Hi, Anonymous for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. Cyberlink Youcam won't open

click start control panel view devices and printers you should see your webcam from there
if you are have trouble with your webcam

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down image devices you could see a yellow question mark?
right click to reinstall drivers or update driver xp

click start right click on computer select properties device manager scroll to image devices expand right click to update driver in W7

software if you dont have the driver you will need to download one here are a few you could try although i could not find one for windows 7

Some webcams and programs require additional software, although that should be installed with the webcam if things are right.

But is does not harm to check if your Java, Flash and Quicktime software are installed and up to date.
But certainly check your DirectX software, since all video applications, including webcams, use DirectX for video processing.

Try downloading the latest DirectX version and install it (Windows XP: DirectX 9.0c - Windows Vista: DirectX 10).

Business card template with ten images have turned one image into design of my choice and now want to duplicate other 9 images with same thing thought copy and paste would work but it won't let me copy...

At home, we mostly use Printmaster for making greeting cards, but I'm guessing the procedure is similar. When you complete one design, select Finish Project, or similar. Then there's a menu option to Save the project. Give it a name, then Save.
Next, begin a new project, this time choosing the next image. This will prove to be a tedious effort, but you need to Finish and Save each one as a separate project. Of course, once it's done you can simply choose any one of them from your Open Saved Project list and quickly make any needed changes, then print.

How to paste images from camera to computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

How do you delete ALL photos at once from your Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 once they have been downloaded to my MAC? Deleting them individually is very annoying and time consuming, but that is how I have...

You can delete all the images from the Camera using the Format option.

NOTE: Do not connect the Camera to the Computer to format it. It is highly recommended to format the Memory of the Camera by using only the FORMAT option in it.

If the images are stored in the internal Memory/Memory Card:
Press the "MENU" button.
Select the "Setup" option
Then select the either the "Internal Memory tool" or "Memory Stick Tool" to delete the images from Camera.

How to download videos from my camera to my computer

Dear Dcarres,
To start with, please install the software that came along with the camera.. ones the installation is successfully completed, Connect the camera to the computer using the USB cable provided along with the camera and the computer should automatically detect the camera and launch the software.
Even if the computer doesn't launch the software.. you can go to "My computer" and you should be able to find a new drive letter along with your C,D and CD drive..
Double click on the new drive letter and go through the folders, you should be able to find the images in there.. Copy those images from that drive and paste them in "My Documents --> My pictures" or to any other location.
Once copy is done, left click on the green arrow icon in the system trey, next to time and select option "Safely remove the device" .. now you can unplug the camera.

Please let me know if that helps.

Regards,
Srinivas
