A bad cable could be causing the color problem. Try one of your other inputs to see if the colors run on them as well. If they don't then just swap the cable for a new one and you should be okay. Magnetic interference may also be causing the issue. To fix that issue you need to degauss the tv. If it doesn't have a built in degausser then you can either buy a ring and do it yourself or get a certified tech to do it for you. If neither of these things fixes the issue then you need to have the tv serviced by your local tech. There are any number of issues that can cause this from the inside. The tech should have the means to check this.

Pictures get ghost image & colour veriation

You get a picture with sharp and correct colored parts as well as parts blurred with wrong colors?
I assume this only happens indoors, when you use the flash?
It sounds like you are using Slow Synchro flash mode.
Try switching the flash mode to Auto instead.

Picture flashing, weak color. whenflashing stops

I have the same problem with a WD 73732. After about an hour fleshtones go blue / purple, and picture flashes. I gutted the set, and ran it on the bench, and found that a sensor on the color wheel (a small external board), acts up when it gets hot. Cooling the board fixed the picture. I'm going to try to find a replacement part, and then make vents in the color wheel cover so it doesn't get so hot in there.

Sony Trinitron screen flashing

The picture tube is starting to fail. The increased screen voltage allows it to stabilize at the expense of color quality. Sorry to say, but it is time for a replacement.

Pictures reddish or orange

Although normal room lights (tungsten lights) appear white to our eyes, their light is actually much "warmer" than daylight, giving a reddish or orange color to pictures. This happens with digital and film cameras. To prevent or lessen this reddish or orange color: If your digital camera has a selectable White Balance mode (check your camera's User's Guide) and you are not using the camera or external flash, set the White Balance mode for "Tungsten" light. If your pictures are reddish even when you use the camera flash or external flash, the room lighting is overpowering the flash. Try setting the White Balance mode for "Tungsten" and continue to use the flash. If your camera does not have a selectable White Balance mode, use the camera flash or external flash when taking pictures in lighting that makes your pictures turn out reddish or orange. If you can, turn down or turn off one of the room lights (without making the room too dark), or move your subject so that it is not being hit directly by the room lights. If you can, when taking pictures in the daytime, try opening any drapes that might be covering windows. Letting in natural daylight improves the color quality of the lighting.
