My mouse pad and keyboard has stopped working on a brand New Acer Aspire 5515 I have only had it for 3 weeks and used it 4 times.

I suggest that your laptop is still under warranty, and you should return it to the supplier to have ot fixed or replaced. If you try to fix it yourself you will possibly void your warranty.
